It wasn't terrible, but it certainly left a lot to be desired.

The TV Movie in 2008 was far greater than the series - it set up a lot of potential that was seemingly just thrown away and forgotten with the series itself.

It was a decent premise which turned into a horrible episode full of awful writing and even worse acting.

Very rarely, and a few times in Knight Rider 2000 it was referred to as the Knight Foundation. Besides, Knight FLAG is too wordy.

KR2K and TKR were retconned by the new Knight Rider from 2008-2009.

You could also see it this way with different timelines...

Knight Rider > Knight Rider 2000
Knight Rider > Team Knight Rider
