Mike Lang is an amazingly talented piano player as well. Amost any film score where you hear piano -- if the linear notes credit the musicians, you can place a safe bet you'll see Mike Lang listed there. There's someone I'd like to get ahold of and interview.

In the two-part Peake interview he names two or three of them.

Yeah, I only hope future scores are complete. And if fuure volumes are going to be ridiculously short like Volume 2, then include missing material from previous episode scores.

They just recently got a second loan billion dollar loan from the Treassury (ontop of the first multi billion dollar one -- which the Treassury still hasnt' finished giving them!). In the new Don Peake interview he states "Knight Rider" Volume 4, 5, & 6 are coming, and a 2CD set of the score for the episode "Goliath".

He also says he did the instrumental re-arranging for the "White Bird" song and instrumental.

I just mailed my payment two days ago, so it'll probably be two weeks or so before I get mine, when I do I will make some good comments.

If it's anything like Volume 1 which was original cues (not the edits as in the episodes) and featured some score not used, and also missing score used in the episodes, Peake just might not have access to the orignal versions scored. OR maybe he's just lazy in track naming. Either way, it's kind of ...

Being pressed and mastered doesn't make something official. The rights have to be liscanced from the rights holders, and that must have not been done. Anyway, same contents. And the mastering on the bootleg was better than Hitchcock's for their first CD. Besides, some people don't buy bootlegs, and ...

Appearently Volume 3 is the same contents as the Hi-Tech Records bootleg from a number of years back. One can only hope it's at least mastered a little. But in the end it will give people who don't want to buy bootleg,s a hcance to buy a legitimate version of these scores, so ... nifty.
