I think the real solution would be some sort of anti-gravitational magnetic / gyroscopic method in so far as levitation is concerned. Jets would require too much fuel/engine to make that useful. As far as surviving a landing impact...a triple coat of line-X would do the trick.

Once in a while there are things that bother me about the show...like the fact KITT often leaves the mobile KNIGHT trailer truck and does a donut 360 at the same place (location Griffith park LA more often than not) no matter where in the country Michael and KITT are supposed to be...does anyone els...

The other problem I'm having is what about the old theme? That is an essential element I'm going to need...even if its a funky hip hop/rapper/alternative rave remix. Otherwise its like a new Starwars without John Williams theme.

It jumped for me when KITT started doing that stupid transformer effect. I guess that was season4. I'm still not really a transformer fan.
