Poor ol' KARR

Why, if K.A.R.R were to hear you guys talking about it in such a manner, it would crash through your living room and knock over your popcorn! 8)

NOPE!

I hated it! KITT looked like he was a frightened porcupine! For one thing, it would adversely affect the smooth airflow over KITT's frame. :x

title change

The title is pretty descriptive. Perhaps it would be best to alter the title slightly to reflect the link it refers to. :o

K.A.R.R.

Evenly matched yes, but K.A.R.R. has the advantage of being a baddie. Bad guys always pose more of a threat because they will take more chances.

characters

I'm assuming since K.I.T.T. has a personality, it is considered a character too. If so, then I am most definately K.A.R.R.!!!!!!!!

airwolf

I don't know if anyone realizes it, but Airwolf has a coffee maker fitted on the outside of the fuselage. After you land, just pop open a little door and viola! Coffee!

whoops!

Hey folks, no one wants to see this as much as myself, but I just checked the TV guide, and there was no mention of anything other than the usual TV Land fare on Oct 20th. I hope I'm wrong.

I think K.I.T.T. would first need Doc Brown's secret of the flux capacitor.

First, welcome to the board! I'm a relative newbie myself here. I'm sorry, but I don't know the answer either. Maybe one of our other more well-informed members will help you. Once again, nice to have you aboard the uh...board.

Garth and K.A.R.R.

 I don't know why the producers chose to have Wilton Knight's corrupt son Garth create Goliath. If it were left up to me, I'd marry up Garth with K.A.R.R. and use Goliath as the travelling truck for K.A.R.R. Why it's perfect....evil car with an evil driver. I'd even go one step further and hav...

Trust Doesn't Rust

Hey, I feel rather embarrassed. It seems that KITT vs KARR (season 3) isn't the debut of KARR like I had hoped. "Trush Doesn't Rust" marks KARR's first appearance in season 1. This was the one I prefer. It's the episode where KARR is accidently re-activated in an abandoned warehouse.

let's not forget Doc Brown's Delorean from Back to the Future!! Although not AI like the Knight Industries Two Thousand (KITT), you can't slam a car that travels through time!

agree to disagree

I'm sorry to disagree with you Michael P, but Battlestar Galactica 1980 was a complete failure and did no credit to season one (flying motorcycles, beaming from their earthly jail cell when no such indication of this technology was ever used in the original season). It wasn't really considered a spi...

micro jamming

I've been in the field of electronics for over 30 years now, and I've never heard of "micro-jamming" in the real world as it was used in Knight Rider, but jamming obviously does exist. I think in this context, it refers to a tightly directed beam of interference, not unlike the parallel (c...

My 1st law of television series

It never fails. Never, never, never. Once a series goes beyond it's 3rd season, the producer runs out of ideas for a plot and the show invariably goes downhill....and picks up speed. The characters end up doing incredibly stupid things that make the show completely unbelieveable and improbable. Knig...

Where were you when....

the pilot episode of Knight Rider was aired for the very first time? I was at home, just long enough to see the pilot episode, get hooked in a bad way, right before I had to report to Air Force Basic Training. I was already so addicted to KR that I couldn't stand it. During the rare times we could w...

Without a doubt, the scanner on K.A.R.R Nice and twisted! Sort of a backwards version of K.I.T.T.s scanner  .
