I had the Knight Rider Big wheel but have no idea what ever happen to it. I was small for my age so I could still ride it at 12. LOL

All I know about hagerty is that they are alot more strict with having a Kitt vs Herbie. Herbie only had to be insured for a minimum of $5,000 amd only cost $75 a year as Kitt has be be valued at $15,000 and cost over $200 a year.

Since I'm still new to the board and haven't gotten to read all the post, I don't know too much about the new movie. Is there any talk Kitt will be a 2005 model transam or will he be the old Kitt from the 80s?

LOL This will probably be the closet I get to a real Kitt for a long time. This Kitt gets to stay in doors though instead of the garage.

This one came with all the decals, I just didn't put the side ones on yet. My husband paid around $130 I think but it was like new and never assembled. The hard part is trying to get my kids not to get in it. LOL

My husband surprised me with a Kitt pedal car he got on e-bay. He put it together last night as it was never assembled. You would never know it was 20 years old. A regular insurance company would insure but I would have to pay monthly like it was a daily driver and I didn't want to insure it that way because it would only be for occasional use and shows. Hagerty Insurance is for classics or show cars mostly. I have Herbie insured for only $75 a year. Hagerty...

I was 12 then and fell in love with Kitt and then I hit 14 and fell in love with Michael Knight. LOL
