Let's hope when NBC and its partners at Ford get around to selling little toy KITTs, they come complete with a tiny finger in the glove compartment.
lol! Ok, that was a mean review, but the mental imagery conjured by that statement is just priceless!
I think I'd buy one.

After 5 days without power due to Ike, I was finally able to watch it on NBCs website last night. I liked it. It had heart. It had "cheese". It had the theme music. Watching it, I was smiling like a loon. There aren't many shows on TV that are fun to watch. Interesting, yes, but just...

Why is it stars assume we, the general public, give a flying fig about what they think? I'm always curious about that. Although, in all fairness, this was in response to an interview, but still....

Hi all, long time no see. :D I currently have the original Knight Rider Novels 1-4 ( still looking for #5) and had a couple of thoughts/questions. 1. Do you think there will be any new novels to go with the new series? 2. Would it be possible/legal to archive the old novels online? Probably not, but...

Yeah, in the novel Erik (the phantom) was born with a disfigurement so horrible it looked as if he had a "death's head". He was alive, he simply played tricks on (and sometimes murdered) the Opera staff and blackmailed the managers for something like 20,000 francs a month. I highly reccome...

Ah, but even that legend can perhaps trace its roots back to Gaston Leroux's gothic novel. "The Opera ghost really existed. He was not, as was long believed, a creature of the imagination of the artists, the superstition of the managers, or a product of the absurd and impressionable brains of t...

Oh, you could *never* get away with half the things they did in KR these days.
I am so glad I am not alone in the seeing the humor in that review. I love to poke fun at the things I enjoy; keeps me from getting too serious.

I thought it was funny. He didn't say anything that wasn't true. The plots *were* redundant...and while I find KR endearing I respect opposing views.
Come on, the Stephen Hawking bit was funny. You have to admit that.

Oh, I think it'll happen. :) My other pet fandom is Phantom of the Opera. We waited from around 1995 until 2005 for its movie release. It was bought, it was sold, it was shelved, and it finally got made. Granted, it got made with an Erik who cannot sing and was not overly disfigured (*sigh* )...

It *could* be the DVD player....have you tried it on another?
But most likely it is just the poor quality DVD itself. Mine freezes up halfway in one episode, I end up having to skip a quarter of it.

I teach Preschool, and I tell you the Dukes are still pretty big. We're an Appalachian Head Start, and some of those boys watch the DoH on CMT...and they're waaaay under 18. :D And they *all* know the General. :D Now if my boss would just let me slip in a little KR some day during playtime....

I've always assumed Kitt was just saying he thought Michael's plan wouldn't work and they were most likely going to roast, rather than clear the flames.
(On an unrelated note, that episode title inevitably gets Johnny Cash stuck in my head. But that is neither here nor there.

I got season 4 of KR and Seaon 2 of the Munsters for $35 at Best Buy.
Season 4 was 39.99, but I had a $5 off coupon I got from Amazon.com when I bought Season 3...and then since I had all of KR I decided to get something just for fun for free.
Mmmm....Munsters....cheesy TV at its best.

By that time I'm sure news of Muntzy's demise had reached the police scanners. We had one in the 80's....why not Wilton Knight? :D With that news in mind, seeing a man's body in front of Michael's car, it would seem to be a logical conclusion. On a side note, it would have been a short series if Wil...

It wasn't good publicity; it was a dig at us KR fans. :) Chris is an outcast of sorts and had a falling out with his dweeby Trekie friend and ended up with a boy who was even more of an outcast...."Did you catch Knight Rider" was a punchline. I know because my family spent the rest of the ...
