I don't get the sci fi network here in Canada, but I hear they really like to "trim" around the edges so-to-speak.

Your typical 48 minute episode is more like 40 minutes!

Yes, they are double sided discs, three of them to be exact :( They also reduced the price of the Season 1 set, so if you look on Amazon, you may see the Season 1 listed as pre-order. Nothing has changed, just the price reduction for MSRP. I don't know about the rest of you but I do not like double...

I wish the US/Canadian version would have been released with 8 DVD's. it was released with 4 Double Sided discs. I had bought mine originally but had to bring it back for exchange because on the discs were defective.
