Re: Official cancellation posted by Sci Fi
Internet reviews aren't reliable, they're not written by professionals I resent the comment. Firstly, because professional reviewers have actually discovered the Internet and secondly, because professional or not, they still represent the conscensous. were just people who didn't like change Hmm... ...

Re: Official cancellation posted by Sci Fi
May 20 ?! And nobody picked that up in nearly three freakin' months? I'm pretty sure the show's cancelled and all, but just... wow. And I agree we should just demonize GST. It's certainly easier than remembering that the pilot movie was a badly-written, product-placement-infested borefest that was ...

Re: Should Syfy pick up Knight Rider?
I'm pretty sure we more or less all would like for a station to pick the show up. Having said that... the issues would still be there, it would still be a show about a talking car, without the budget necessary to balance out the ridiculousness around the concept and the overall writing, the bad word...

Re: Knight Rider 2008 DVD is here
Play.com has a listing for it, scheduled for September. Granted, history says they can't be trusted in regards to release dates (unless something has been officially confirmed), but they wouldn't put a listing up if they weren't informed the product was coming out eventually.

Re: Knight Rider 2008 DVD is here
Why would I pay money for 4 DVDs I can download for free and my free version is STILL better quality than the DVD paid option.? Probably because if there is the slightest chance this show is coming back will also be largely based on how it does on DVD? Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty leniant when it...

The Time Force pilot "Force from the Future", I think in part I. It's one of the Time Force's futuristic cop cars.

It seems both in TKR and in KR'08, FLAG has a knack for the dramatic. Who names case files with such titles?

Re: New 2010 Camaro with KITT Scanner!
The Corvette has always been a good alternative. I remember a custom Corvette a few years ago, fitted with KITT's nose and the scanner (I think it was a custom, at least- maybe it was just a manip) and it looked pretty damn good.

Re: New 2010 Camaro with KITT Scanner!
I never quite got used to the Mustang as KITT as I still think KITT should look more aerodynamic and futuristic than a musclecar, much pretty as said car might be, but for those same reasons the Camaro is out for me as well. I certainly hope that they do go through the trouble of modifying whatever ...

Heh, the only clips in TOS' reel tape that Hasselhoff doesn't drop the F-bomb are the ones where he plays around with the clapboard.
Or the one where KITT sucks him.

The show hasn't officially been canceled yet. Everything points to that, but until we run out of "but"s and "maybe"s, it's all in good faith.

"Michael, what on Earth are those bells? And what on Earth is that thing with people hanging in on it?" - KITT, upon seeing his first cable car. I don't know why, but I found it really funny, probably because of Daniels' delivery.

Shocking? Only Devon's death. Stevie's death also had some impact on me, but the way it was set up, I kind of saw it coming.

No offense to anyone involved but that car is ugly. As everone recalls Kitt was happy being black and thry managed to make him look like his worst nightmare... A tomato on wheels... lol I really didn't like it when I first saw it, but so many years later, it falls under "pop sci-fi" per t...

^ But apparently keyboards with a Caps Lock are available in India. =P Aaaanyway, I'm in the middle of watching TOS myself. It varies from hilarious to... no, it's actually just hilarious. It delivers that specific flavor of cheese and '80s kitch that I particularly enjoy. Having said that, the stun...

People still don't get it. IMDB isn't moderated. At all. It's its own little brutal community. They throw members in there, where they eat their fleshes out, until they're all dead. Rinse and repeat. If nothing else, it makes the mods' job a lot easier. And, quite frankly, a lot more entertaining too.

Re: Why NBC should save "Knight Rider" - External Article
KR08 once again proves that today's audiences aren't embracing light, fun, and stupid anymore in a scripted series. Make KR dark and give it great writers and you have a better chance of creating a series that will catch on. That's no guarantee, really. A show about a talking car is inevitably goin...

Re: An Update from Gary Scott Thompson
GST talks out of both sides of his mouth, so why should we take these words as being true? When a showrunner is the first to come out and be accessible and available to a fanbase (especially one as old and demanding as this), it's a bit unfair -to say the least- to come back with comments like this...

It was fine. A bit cringe-worthy here and there, but deliberately juvenile, which I've sort of missed since the retool.

Re: Great KR'08 Cartoon Artwork Pitch
That's all sorts of awesome. Not that it would ever happen, but should the show not fly, a comic book is the next-best-thing; mostly, because it's the medium with the show's target audience by default. It would get it, without even going through the trouble of trying too hard. ... Which ultimately i...

Any chance we can get rid of the damn stripes? Ancient issue, I know and I've gotten used to the Mustang, but the damn stripes ruin it for me.
