Impressive. Thanks for sharing. This is a vivid example of the popularity of KR here in Europe 30 years later. KR is still inspiring. Way too cool.

Re: Knight Of The Juggernaut question
It's a Checker Taxicab. They were very popular in the US back in the days, just like the black London cabs. This is the same model used in Taxi Driver with Robert De Niro. Take a look. These are several ones used in movies. http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Checker_model-Taxicab.html" onclick=...

Re: my start to my Michael Knight impersonation
The one you're wearing looks like a polo shirt. Michael used several of those, you know the ones with the crockodyle logo on'em. In season 1 MK had at least two of them, same brand, a dark red one a a light blue one. I wonder why they let him wear a turtleneck when the filming of the Pilot and the f...

That's really impressive. If you just dye your hair a darker shade of brown...We should definitely open a thread about MK's complete wardrobe.
Take care.

Re: Kitt In Louisville Auto Show
Yes, that's the car. It's one of 4 cars that Mr. Casper bought after the series. The other 3 were since sold. This was the hero car in season 1 and 2, then modified in season 3 and 4 to be the right hand blind driver car. Oh was forgettin', this is one of the original cars used in the Pilot aswell, ...

Re: KITT's used in the show?
When in Florida, visit the Dezer Collection museum. They were the guys that purchased quite all of the Cars of the stars museum car collection from UK. The now have both Kitt cars, the actual T/A #1196 aka the hero convertible Kitt from the show, and a tour car Universal gave David H. to go on stage...

Amazing job here Joe. I love this last cover better. It reminds me a shot of David inside the mobile unit set, just on the opposite side of Kitt.
This is gonna be another jem for all of us. I'm dying to have my pèersonal copy.

Info needed about Transpo co.
Hello everybody. I have a request and hope you could help me. I'm interested in knowing what transportation company or companies worked on the Old series, I mean who provided the background vehicles for the show. I'm particularly interested in the VW beetle that we see in 3 or 4 eps. of season 2. Th...

Well, that car was used in the pilot but has since been reworked, I mean It was modified during the show's run...Inside out, ha ha... And after the show was cancelled Mr. Carl Casper was given this and other cars to be used in the Budweiser/World of wheels circuit, so he altered this car's shape onc...

That's the car folks, the screen used Kitt #1083/1197 found about 7 years ago, restored and sold at Kassabian motors on 2007. This is the car you saw at KR events in Vegas, one of the pilot cars.

Re: Dezer Car Museum
These are good news. Did you happen to take pictures of those cars? It would be interesting because the convertible Kitt #1196 had stayed in UK since 2001 and we didn't know If It really went back to US, Joe Huth made a reportage on his blog about this very car. Wasn't there another Kitt, the T-Top ...
