Re: ws6air replica updates

The overhead console switches for the Pilot/S1 were always rocker swithces. The reason it may appear to be pushbutton switches is because the caps on the original rockers were clear with red and green filter inserts. What you are seeing in the screen cap posted above is glare on the end of the rocke...

Re: Some new pics of my KITT replica

My appologies for not coming back sooner to visit this thread. I'm glad that it seems some of your questions have been answered. I did get a little confused as to what some were wondering about with the pods, but it seems as though Mr. Scheffe has confirmed that the original pods were straight acros...

Re: Some new pics of my KITT replica

Thanks again guys for the really kind words! About the pods: It's just the perspective of the screen grab giving the illusion that the pod ends are not even with each other. The dash board curves, so it looks like the one on the left appears higher than the one on the right. But they are both even w...

Re: Some new pics of my KITT replica

Looking at the first pic makes me wanna have my Trans Am painted. The paint on my car has faded and is scratchy. And those plastic interior trims, they look like new (I especially noticed the trunk trims, since mine are faded as well and are abit awfull fit)! The whole car looks like new ! Did you ...

Re: Some new pics of my KITT replica

I do have the cargo shade with plans to install it. The hatch already has the factory strong arm/struts. I believe the st...

Re: Best Auto Cruise scene?

My favorite Auto Cruise scene is also from "Knight of the Phoenix". But mine is the one where KITT breaks out of the Comtron building and breaks Michael out of jail. You hear "KITT to the Rescue" music come on with that very unique synthisized, KR theme while we see the scanner l...

Re: Knight 2000 3rd Gen. T/A Custom Radio Frame

Do you make one to fit the 82-84 correct console? I actually tried for the 82-84 radio. Making the frame itself is the easiest out of all frames I have done, the big problem with this is the metal bracket will need to be trimmed, then the actual console will have to be trimmed, top and bottom. Trim...

Re: What's your favorite random line from any KR?

KOTP Pilot Episode: The late 'Richard Basehart' R.I.P. (Wilton Knight) "You were spared to lead a great fight, don't turn away in fear. One man can make a difference, and you are going to be that man." For me, this paticular line has always held the most "power" and IMO sums up t...
