Re: Another possible KITT
....If they can totally create a new Batmobile for the Batman movies, then designing a modern KITT shouldn't be to hard instead of trying to find another car company to base KITT on , then there would be no arguing over wich car models would make the best KITT. ...there are so many avenues the conc...

Re: THE PERFECT KITT!!
As there just isn't modern car which "says KITT" I think the original '82 T/A is the best choice. There's been other tv-series made to movies like Dukes of Hazzard utilizing the original car so why '82 Trans-Am would not work as KITT today? KITT's most well known form is 1982 Pontiac Tran...

Re: THE PERFECT KITT!!
:D I remember when I first saw Knight Rider . I thought the Trans-Am seemed quite exotic because it looked unconventional and futuristic compared to the everyday streetcars it drove by - I didn't even know it was even a production car at the time, certainly there were none where I lived! Surely dest...

Knight Rider Sound Effects/Tracks
Hi All I'm doing a little knight rider project on my car (finally caught the bug!), and am looking for audio files of any sound effect/KI2T dialogue, music (any knight rider series)...anything at all, short tracks, long tracks - if anyone has any knight rider audio files they don't mind sharing, i't...

Re: Another possible KITT
Interesting ideas throughout... I'm not sure there is a car that currently has the 'feel' of the Kitt character - but it is not as difficult as all that to re-skin a chassis and design a new car instead of trying to 'make do' with what the corps have to offer. Once you've got the moulds you can do m...

Re: My 3rd KR GPS Mod
Thanks taoworm. I will download the KR upgrade you've made (when I get a good window of time for my slow internet!). It'll be fun to load it onto a KR GPS, and I'm sure I can find a map to work somewhere! Thank you taoworm2323 for your hard work. :good: I asked about the ability to use the Kitt feat...

Re: My 3d KITT done in Maya!
This is really excellent work with polygons. I remember studying both alias and maya, and we didn't touch cars in poly, only NURBS (for auto design NURBS are the general method for surfacing). Great job, a very smart model hope it goes well to the finish

Re: The Best Knight Rider Scanner Lights?
Thank you Chris. When I wish to produce a Kitt replica I will consider this one. However this current poject is not a 3rd gen Trans-Am , though a very special car nonetheless. I require a slim strip of LEDs to fit a narrow slot, such as the ones knightlight.co.uk make, but I was just interested if t...

The Best Knight Rider Scanner Lights?
Hello all. This is my first post: I am a great fan of KR like the rest of you and hope to share that enthusiasm. Could anyone advise me as to which is the best red LED scanner light available to buy? I require a unit as slim (smallest lens height) as possible for a very thin slot, and anywhere up to...
