There was a comment in Return to Cadiz where KITT says he gets 200 MPG. Was that a cut, or was it in the syndication versions? I always remembered everyone speculating his real gas milage.

I am pretty sure after he went head on with Goliath and Michael jerry-rigged the ram jet that KITT's speedometer hit around 425. But that was not under normal conditions. I think one time I was watching the episodes through and KITT went faster with Pursuit than SPM. I thought this was silly.

I think the biggest change for Knight Rider in the 90s would have been a shift to more serialized plotlines. Adventure shows sort of "grew up" in the 90s, where character development became just as important as action series. Story arcs would span several episodes or even an entire season...

I know that is the way QL Season 2 went, but if they are not gonna put extras on the KR Season 2 DVD set I hope they put that time and effort into keeping the episodes intact. I will lose all interest in purchasing the rest of the seasons if they are gonna butcher them. I just thought of something.....
