Re: Guys NBC won't read my letter, help
At best you can hope that a very low level intern gets to read your email. But more than likely you are completely wasting your time. So I wouldn't spend more than a minute writing one up.

Re: Knight Rider might have been cancelled: two sources
Well there's no way to win with you guys. If they put KR in a friday/saturday night time slot you would be arguing that no one was watching it b/c those nights suck for tv. NBC puts it on a Wed. night slot and surprisingly does not move it at all during its entire run, thereby giving it a great opp...

Re: Knight Rider might have been cancelled: two sources
I think that ratings are made up for what ever TV show. How ratings are so called gained varies from country to country, some are in the form of boxes attached to TVs or digiboxes or whatever (which could in some ways be invasion of privacy) while other countries simply do surveys which just like t...

Re: Knight Rider might have been cancelled: two sources
The show's cancelled. Period. In the end it didn't perform well enough and if having it's full season order cut isn't a big fat sign saying it's cancelled, then people are just sticking their heads in the sand. That's been my stance as well. The episode order being cut was a sign to me that it was ...

Re: NBC PULLED THE SHOW????
Nothing official. But I dispute the argument that the "show wasn't given a chance" Most shows are not given a chance and canceled fairly quickly. But KR was given 3 different creative presentations the tv film, initial series episodes, and the retool. The series in particular was given a f...

Re: TV by the numbers declares war
Actually what is really fun is when you can find the addresses of the people behind the computers then show up on their front doorstep with a baseball bat or some other blunt instrument LOL. Federal Jurisdiction now encompasses the internet. Invasion of privacy, assault, terroristic threats, etc. a...

Create a webpage and make disparaging comments back then you can be fighting on the internetz. Honestly, just let it go and move on. Not worth it.

Re: Knight Rider might have been cancelled: two sources
IF KR08 is cancelled, and that is a big "IF", it's partially because of those who crapped all over it, wanting it cancelled. Some said it's cuz it's not the original, that ONLY the ORIGINAL will do. Some because they hate KR anyway. Either way, they wanted to take it away from those of us...

Next thing to look forward to from here is the feature film assuming it gets out of development hell and into production. I wonder what negative implication if any the series had on the film's prospects.

fans already reacted and bombarded their offices with letters and petitions. you fail at logic. Don't get mad at me b/c of KR's imminent doom. You have some people clinging onto hope b/c nothing has been announced while others began a save the show campaign. There's no cause to rally around since K...

Journey to the end of Knight. Drag racing, exotic cars, babes, old friend who betrays Michael, etc. All classic elements of KR.

Re: Knight Rider might have been cancelled: two sources
I hope you're right. I was happy about yesterday's ratings, then I read this. Don't get me wrong. I think its canceled. I thought it was canceled way back when the episode order was cut. Its just that no official word has come out which I suspect is b/c NBC doesn't want fans to react and bombard th...

"An NBC rep had no comment on KITT's rumored garaging."
Fall slate will be officially released in 3 weeks. Until then nothing is confirmed. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

Re: So where do we go from here........
The good news is hopefully NBC recognizes that KR does have a solid fanbase and the franchise still has a lot of value left in it. These might spark NBC into bringing back KR in a better form sometime in the future.

Re: FLAG website on NBC.com's front page.
How much does a website update cost? If you want to take about cost then look at the ads for the show which are non-existent. That alone is highly indicative of where the show stands with NBC much more than a website update.

Re: FLAG website on NBC.com's front page.
Sure they would if it gives fans hope and keeps them from bombarding NBC offices with letter of support. Updating a website is pretty meaningless in terms of assessing a show's future.

Re: Live Discussion - I Love The Knight Life
Although this hasn't lived up to my expectations of what KR should be, its definitely been better than everything KR related that's come after TOS including KR2000 and TKR. Its still been a fun ride. Here's to hoping another interpretation of KR will be successful.

Re: KR Cancelled???
They say Friday Night Lights may be saved by DirecTV pulling out their checkbook again. Is it possible that Ford may do the same for Knight Rider as well? I don't believe that this has been factored in, but I'm certain the sponsorship of Ford on the show brings in some big money for NBC. With the a...

Re: Soemthing that peeves me
My problem with airing a whole step-by-step startup sequence where you see KITT shift gears, and then the pedal go down, etc... is, basically, that it's unnecessary. You don't need to see that to know KI3T can drive itself, so what a sequence like that winds up doing is wasting a few seconds statin...

Re: KR Cancelled???
Its amusing how often statements get taken out of context, I'm inclined to go with NBC. Who in their right mind takes Wiki as gospel? :? I'm normally inclined to agree with this statement. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist with a PhD from Harvard to conclude that KR is probably not getting ren...
