Just design a KITT mustang upgrade to replace the KR model. What they should have done is gone with a Mustang GT, not a 540hp car. Hell the original KITT's real life counterpart only had 220hp.

It was from Viper, watch the Viper morphing into the Defender(silver armored dodge viper concept) and you'll see for yourself.

The morphing ability was inspired by an older show of NBC's called Viper which was a good show and lasted 4 seasons. I don't think KITT really needed attack mode, just conjure up a way for the molecular bonded shell to return. KITT does need weapons though, the world ain't a safe place.

IF it's not renewed I won't watch NBC much. I don't watch their craptastic network much as is other than catching Leno occasionally. If his new show is any good I'll watch it but if it's boring I won't and then NBC will be totally off my viewing list.
