Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City
Just watching now. I'm watching it for the first time in HD! Nice job special effects team! KITT's orb looks really nice in this episode! I don't know if you guys did anything different or it's the HD, but it's awesome! Also, I like how the blue light from the dash board glows through the door when ...

I like how KITT changes the subject so far
Is it just me, or is the KR symbol being substituted by the windows logo not very subtle?

Re: Live Discussion - Exit Light, Enter Knight
Easily best episode thus far!
I got 12 minutes left on the show as I type this.
I don't even mind the blatant Microsoft/Windows advertisement! (Not going to make me buy VISTA though)

Re: Live Discussion - Knight to King's Pawn
Special effects team, awesome job! Sarah really looked nice. Seriously though, right before the episode, I picked up my parents at the airport, and was able to make it home in time for Knight Rider. I was soooo happy my dad was no where in the room and my mom had her back to the TV when Michael and ...

Re: The Knight Rider 2008 Constructive Criticism Thread
All in all, I like to say two things. 1. To whoever is producing the show, I don't know what pressures you are under, but I am sad that you didn't stick to your vision. All this reboot and changing of episodes makes me wonder if you really believed in your vision of Knight Rider. Look at Battlestar ...

Re: LIve Discussion Thread - Knight Fever
First impressions: The good-> 1. Good pace 2. I like how there was a change of pace where someone times it was just Michael and Kitt driving, the second time with Sarah 3. More gadgets on Kitt 4. Billy and Zoe actually knowing something was up. The bad-> 1. Large semi for transporting such a small v...

Re: KI3T's Miraculous Healing
Not quite. If KI3T has MBS as well as nano-tech, then he could divert less power toward managing damage and use that energy more effective elsewhere. MBS and nano-tech shouldn't be mutually exclusive...it'd be cool if KI3T is invulnerable to normal bullets, but could repair itself when hit by the bi...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Hunter
So that meant applying real world physics to the way KITT flys up and then as he lands, and the way the dust and dirt fly up when he hits the ground, and the flames interacting with the lights and the dust, and even the way the camera jitters with each impact... its gets complicated and we precisel...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: A Hard Day's Knight
Hi all, I think all in all, this was the BEST episode ever in terms of execution. I did not expect that Van to be KI3T, so that was a nice surprise. Using the police channel was more creative than turboboost, though I rather see turbo boost. The ki3t globe on the police laptop was a nice touch. The ...

Conspiracy Theory!
Here’s a conspiracy theory after watching Knight of the Iguana.... As it turns out, Alex is actually selling knight industries technology, and at the end of the season, Knight Research will break out of government sponsorship and become FLAG again? Possible? That way, it’s opportunity to lose the Ki...

IMHO, they can off him in episode 13 and have "sarah knight" take his place. In the original show, I only watched for Kitt anyhow...never did care for DH. But at least DH was fun and interesting...Mike T isn't doing a whole lot for me. Seriously, Sarah looks better in a bikini and she's go...

Re: Kitt Modes: Wanna talk product placement?
Yes, I did watch the old show. No need to get pissy guys. It is what it is, product placement. To say it isn't is deluding yourself. Japanese Anime has been making product placement cartoons for 40 plus years now. What did you think GI Joe or He-Man was for American cartoons? I'm not saying I want a...

Re: So what do you think KI3Ts dash should look like?
Oh, I like your dash, Garthe! Seriously, why did they lose the 3/4 steering wheel from the pilot? That looked cool. The dash in the pilot looked awesome. To catch up with the times though, much like others have said, black screen technology ala I-POD is really more with the times...but you should ke...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Iguana
I'd like to clarify what I mean by I didn't like the special effects in case any NBC folks are reading as I would prefer this to be constructive rather than a rant. 1. The car just "disappears" before it hits KITT. Seriously, even a cheap CGI car flying into water would have been better th...

Kitt Modes: Wanna talk product placement?
OK, first, I don't work for Ford or NBC or sell cars. As a "potential" consumer though, here are my thoughts. Retire the current attack mode. Especially in today's episode, knight of the iguana, the side panels really looked tagged on and cheap. Really, most average watcher like me can't a...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Iguana
Believe it or not, so far, I actually enjoyed this episode the most. This episode is actually the most cohesive episode so far, where they weren't "trying to hard" to be cool. I actually find myself enjoying Smith Cho's character more than Deanna Russo. About the only two things that kept ...

Re: KI3T Scanner Sounds
Well, in instances where they speed up the scene to "simulate" super speed, the scanner speed won't match the sounds. But I think for most normal crusing scenes, the sound matched the speed of the scanner quite well. Like others have said, KI3T scanner really doesn't look like a moving bul...

The transformation is very Viper-esque, which I liked.
That said, lose the truck mode...Viper Defender's 4x4 mode was way cooler.

KI3T Scanner Sounds
Maybe I'm not recalling correctly, but in the old KI2T, the scanner sound matched the speed of the scanner. With KI3T, the scanner speed doesn't really match the scanner sound...it's also kind of weird to "hear" the scanner sound when you don't see the scanner.... Anyone else find that wei...

I think she means she has the same CIA/FBI training that is necessary now that KI3T is a government sponsored project.
