Re: Christopher Nolan to direct Knight Rider Motion Picture
If Nolan does it, it could work. He'd be an awsome director, w/ the job he's done on the Batman movies.
Maybe he will be interested in taking KR to the silver screen.

Re: How would you continue the 2008 Knight Rider?
It's revealed that Garthe & Adrienne had a son, Maximus, who's built a new Goliath, and using plans he had stolen from FLAG, has built another KARR. With these two weapons, he plans to kill Mike, Sarah and anyone else associated w/ FLAG, & destroy the Foundation. The SSC is renovated, and th...

Re: If you can cast Michael Knight, who would it be?
Henry Cavill, the Brit guy WB got to play Superman. Check out some pics of the guy. He's got a near uncanny resemblence to the Hoff when he was younger. I really don't care that he's British. Tom Welling still would be a good pick, as would Justin Bruening. But Cavill has the best chance if you wann...

The statement that one man can make a difference came before KR, so it's not just tied to any one
tv show, but should rather be a way that we live our lives, to make a difference.

Re: Knight Rider 2000
I have an idea for a KR 11 pilot, series: Mike Tracer is a former Ranger, or Green Beret, working as a private security specialist. Almost killed on a case, is approached by old girlfriend Sara Graiman & her father, Dr. Charles Graiman. He plans to take control of FLAG, from Russell Maddock, who...

Re: ki2t and ki3t wouldve got along ?
You can read the dialogue, and it is amusing, but it's even better to watch it on the movie.
You never heard KITT say things like that in the series, so it was surprising to hear him call
the other car a "smart-ass automobile."

Re: Ideal modern KITT
The Vette does have a low, sleek front fascia, but also a higher price-tag, and lacks a back seat.
The use of the Camaro or Mustang is more practical in terms in price, and the back seat. They
might not be as sleek as the Vette, but oh well, they have to think of practicality.

Re: Ideal modern KITT
The Camaro would be great, if GM will go for it. They kiboshed the idea for the KR08 pilot & series. Maybe they'll be more receptive for the movie, should that happen. The Mustang from the 08 series is a good possibility, too. These are the best two for the movie, despite the suggestion by some ...

Re: ki2t possible or a myth ????
The tech that was used in KI2T has inspired a number of tech advances we see today, so some things are possible in cars now, others in the future. There's things like OnStar, MyFord, UConnect; some lux brands have a system that unlocks the doors, opens the trunk, & a few other things. They have ...

Re: Biggest mistake on KR movie
Here's my take on the movie storyline/plot: Michael Long is a Vegas detective, shot in the line of duty, while investigating a case of corporate espionage. Tanya Walker, the thief & shooter, is involved with Garthe Knight, Wilton Knight's spiteful, power-hungry son. Garthe has stolen KARR, the K...

I'd go for the rebuilt KARR, w/out the exoskeleton mode, but not sure about the special ops vehicle.
It might work, but it's better as the prototype car.

Re: What would you like to see in a second season?
I'd like to see K2T updated and put in a later model Trans-Am, with color change technology, K3T still as Mustang, but with liquid-metal style nano-tech change. MK Sr & MK Jr work together from time to time, but MK Sr doing mostly the running of FLAG, alongside Dr. Graiman. Bonnie would be over ...

Re: This is how KITT should look like
My thought is that with the tech that's available today, there wouldn't need to be a lot of customizing work on the cars. They could get two cars, make one the hero car, the other attack mode, should they do that. They could make the car(s) operate on both manual and remote modes, without having to ...

Re: movie and tv gadgets
I think of movie & tv gadgets as being the ideas that came as a result of tv and movies, with the help of modern tech. These are things like the following: Star Trek: communicators--cell phones, hands free headsets for phones. Phasers--tasers, stun guns. tablet computers--iPad, internet tablets....

Re: Truely A Sad Time In Hollywood - Stephen J. Cannell
Yes, condolences indeed are in order. Cannell had a great creative talent, and overcame dyslexia to become one of the most prolific writers in tv history. Tony Curtis was a legend who could bring any role his own flavor and make it entertaining. It's not gonna be too easy to fill the legendary shoes...

I do like the Challenger, but I'm not sure it's aerodynamic enough for KITT. I've seen the Camaro,
and it's not too big, so it would work.

Re: This is how KITT should look like
For KITT, it's gotta be either the Camaro SS or the Mustang GT500KR. Use the hotrod Attack Mode, not the dorkeriffic Super Pursuit Mode. They gotta have the HUD, and touch-screen computer. They should use a modern adaptation of the voice modulator from the 80's show, and have Kelsey Grammer to voice...

Re: Style of movie? Lighthearted Action or Serious Sci Fi?
I'd prefer a mix of serious sci-fi action w/ some lighthearted humor. I did like the two elements
together in the shows. They keep it more realistic and human. As for the exotic supercar for KITT,
it just doesn't work. I like an American car, like the Mustang, or the Camaro.

Re: Question about KARR
Having KARR transform into a robot, pretty out there. But so was the transformation program on KITT. Having Peter Cullen as the voice was cool. Cullen offered the sinister element. The whole KARR and driver as one thing was okay, I suppose, in a freaky whackado sorta way. It was done on TKR, in the ...
