Another reason I read about the F-Body demise was that it was costing GM more to make the Camaro and Firebird than they were selling them. So basically, I think it came down to costs and sales. The Mustang sold much more than the F-bodies combined. Still, those LS1 Trans Ams had more character than ...

I'm personally a fan of the Thunderbird Drones in KOTD. Reminds me of my buddy's T-bird, without the rockets....darn!

In the first season ep "Chariots of Gold", when the dude is ordering KITT to attack Michael, you can notice the small round steering wheel and vaguely, some hands through the window turning it. That always caught my eye.

4th Season Shifter

Hey all, whats up? I was just watching my ep of Killer KITT and I noticed that the 4th season shifter had lights under the indicator where the gear shifter was placed. For instance, "D" would be lit up and you could see the light faintly in "N" and "2". Same for everyth...

Re: Just a thought regarding Garthe and Goliath.......

Why is it that FLAG, with all of its resources, settled for a plain repainted Peterbilt 18-wheel semi truck as a mobile headquarters for KITT and Michael et al I'm sorry to nitpick but the FLAG semi is a GMC, not sure on the model though. I always thought Goliath was the Peterbuilt? And I realize y...

I kind of like the season 3-4 shifter over the season 1-2 shifter. It seemed as if the P R N D indicator was lighted in seasons 3 and 4 opposed to the plain, blah non-lighted type of seasons 1 and 2.

I'm sorry if this line has been brought up before, but.... Lost Knight - the scene where the three are standing by Devon's limo. Bonnie: "KITT can be anywhere, lost...driving around" The camera shot changes to Michael and Devon while Bonnie still keeps yelling. Devon kind of snickers a bit...

I would think either over the pond, used as stock footage in a number of episodes, or in A Good Knight's Work, where KITT went from the parking garage to the apartment.

At least the Chevette is rear-wheel drive, still good for 180s.

Now imagine KITT in a Hyundai! "Michael, my sensors indicate that the transmission is slipping."

Yep. Though I can't be specific as I don't remember which episode it was. But somewhere, there is a human being that walks REALLY fast  That was the race scene at the end of "The Nineteenth Hole", there are people who are walking on the sidewalk as that Trans Am blows that Camaro awa...

I would have to say the biggest one I have is in Knight of the Phoenix, Part 2, when the theives stole KITT and KITT was supposedly doing the 360s in the intersection. If you look closely, some fuel runs out of the filler door. Another one lines up with that exact scene. The thief in the driver's se...
