Thanks Joe!

I would love to see that for the new KR movie that is in the works... hopefully they will get that out next year. Haven't heard anything.
This teaser brings back memories.

Hell yeah you know I am interested!
You know when I taped that 15 years ago, I cut that part off, and it's so great to see it again!
Joe rules!
Now here is the big challenge- those who have good ears, can anyone identify the music used in the teaser?

I've said it before, I'll say it again: that teaser is more exciting than the entire movie itself.

That movie was *terrible*, unfortunately we can't ignore it
Agreed, that trailer makes the movie look so grand, but we all know otherwise ...
Here's a thought: I wonder if Glen Larson has written
HIS version of KR 2000, the way
HE wanted it to be
(the way it should have been) but has it stashed away with his other brilliant writings ...

Well, Scott, if you liked that video, check these out. They are two different NBC commercials promoting "Knight Rider 2000":

It's a shame Universal never included that on the DVD set as an extra bonus feature.

there is some footage in that video that you never see in the series. I don't remember seeing KITT in SPM in the fog or the pilot voice modulator doing that countdown sequence you see for a split second.

The footage of the foggy SPM and Michael walking down the alley is actually from a 1985 promo for "Knight of the Juggernaut". The pilot countdown sequence is from the Pilot Presentation video used to sell the series.

Was your mpeg pilot teaser for Knight of the Phoenix an NBC one?
There's many KR clips you posted on Youtube, can't wait to see the Knight of the Juggernaut 1985 clip. Will that one and future KR clips be on Youtube or MPeg? I'm asking this again cause you told me that they'll be in Mpeg. But Youtube is fine. I just hope the clips you put up there on Youtube will remain there for a long time.
Also it could be in your Knightrider Legacy book already, but have you noticed in the preview teasers that there are scenes that don't make it into the episode? or there are scenes that are alternate and they don't make it into the actual episode. Same with different dialogue in the teaser, but not in the episode. It's interesting.
I don't know if there's a way to do it on Youtube but I like when you have them in MPegs where then I can adjust the color and brightness in Windows Media Player.
But it's your collection, you can do whatever you want, at least we're are all getting to see these clips.

Here's the 1985 4th Season Promo Commercial, in which footage was used for the Knight Rider 2000 Teaser. There's no audio for the first few seconds, but the voiceover went something like this: "When you live in a world of evil and danger like I do, you need all the help you can get. This new KITT may be a whole lot more than I bargained for, but it's what I need. And everybody needs a friend when you're running in the night".
