Well, I finally finished my secret project. A replica of the KNERD moped from the episode, "Knight and Nerd". I searched for 2 years tracking down the correct moped used in that episode. I decided to unveil it at the Southern Knights get together. Here are some pics.

The only thing that I was not able to get completed in time for the event was the 4 light scanner. That was because of Brenon's busy schedule. I want the KNERD scanner to be perfect and only one person can do that. I'll post pics when the scanner is added.

Awesome! I agree, you're probably the only one that has a KNERD replica (even in works).

If only I could find a model kit of it... or of that moped... (Uh oh... )

Questions....

1) Why wasn't KNERD used more often throughout the show?

2) Would it be as bulletproof as KITT?

3) Does it also have a voice modular? (doesn't remember if it did)

4) Can it move on it's own like KITT?

5) Can it do things KITT can't do??

All they showed was a little scanner on the front. I think it was meant as a joke/gift to Elliot. The Foundation wouldn't make a CPU to go on a moped and give it to some kid.

Congratulations! I remember that moped, is a DERBI VARIANT. That moped is made in Spain...

Good question, like KARR, I wouldn't mind seeing KNERD on the show (and it's driver more. Can you imagine what would have happened if KARR met KNERD?

Not much to bulletproof. Think about it, if shot at, the driver is more prominent than the moped. No protection there. MBS maybe, so in case you have to jump in a lake, the bike won't be history as well.

Nope. It had a scanner with a higher-pitched noise. That was all. It didn't talk, or drive by itself, that I assume. I think Elliott put it together so he could be more like Michael (notice they had on the exact same outfits at the end too. )

Well, maybe get into small places KITT can't fit. Outside of that, that would be about it. No other special features (no room to put it).

Basically, it was just Elliott's moped painted black and I think a noisy lightbar installed, not even a real scanner (or it'd need a video system or other notification of what it's scanning, come to think of it).

RC's Motorcycle against KNERD. What would you prefer?

James_kr - I wouldn't even know how to answer that one. But I think RC's wreck was more powerful than the KNERD's!

RC's Motorcycle went through a lot of things though just like KITT said about it since it went through everything KITT did. Knerd's pedals whats that about can you use your own leg power?

Cuuute! I like it! I prefer the KNERDmobile to RC's wheels, it had more character.
