He was so drunk they wouldn´t let him on the plane.
After several hours stay at heathrow he was still to drunk.
As you can see from the picture he has a wet stain in the crutch of his pants

That article just grosses me out! Eww!
Especially since that wasn't true.
Someone was really having some sick fun at the Swedish newspaper that day.

although i have my own views on what happened and believe he WAS drunk, i still don't believe he p'd his pants. i've seen that done before in the tabloids, where something has been spilt on the crotch area and then a quick snap with the "look who's wet him/herself" phrase stuck next to it.

Well
Im just posting a summary of a bigger article published in a major swedish newspaper.
I wouldn´t have belived it if I didn´t see the picture.
I don´t know why he is doing it we can only speculate.
But it is not a suited behavior for a 53 year old man

That article is published 28th of July. I wonder if Aftonbladet have now released the official word from the Hoff's representatives that tells he wasn't drunk, he got sick from the medication prescripted to the injured arm.
I myself have lost any and all respect for tabloids and newspapers, seems that they publish whatever lies, gossip and trash they can find, especially about celebritys. Makes me doubt how truthful the so called news are...

I can't read any of the article. I assume it doesn't mention anything about David's pants. (please correct me if I'm mistaken.) I'd be careful posting threads like this based entirely on some shadows in a photograph. I think that as fans od Hasslehoff we should be trying to put out fires, not create them.

You are right Michael...as David's fans we should be doing everything we can to put out the fires that start with these kinds of stories. The whole story was revolting, untrue, and not to mention embarassing to David.
This is exactly why I chose to keep all of that stuff off my site. I really did want to post something in my news to prove this story wrong, but before David went on EXTRA I just felt that I was drawing attention to the story more by posting what was being said about it around the net about it, regaurdless of what was true. I had a feeling that after all this went down, that David would be discussing it himself, so I felt more comfortable waiting for an interview from him before posting my news on this matter. I wanted to consider his feelings, and not be someone to keep adding attention on top of attention to a bad story that was false. I'm glad to see David doing much better now. I just wish this whole untrue story would disappear from the net now.

I believe he was hammered. Even though medication can make you ill, it's a bit too much to blame it on the meds in this incident, especially as it's been a few weeks since his accident and he would have felt the effects in those past few weeks as well.
At the end of the day, it's not been PROVEN that he wasn't drunk or was. One paper says one thing and david's spokesman says another.
We will all have our own opinion and in the end, it doesn't really matter about THIS particular incident because if david is going to get drunk then he will.

I've moved on from that bogus story, and so should the press.
I'm glad Ilana came back to this board to support DH in all that crap myself, plus I'm glad Nat supports him as well.
Ever heard of the phrase, Don't believe everything you read? It's sure accurate now.

Eh, the media will say anything. I think they have a huge bias against the hoff. Do you think they do?

I'm in full agreement, Solid snake!
That horse blank thing also strikes me as funny, but really accurate.
I like seeing DH being back in the U.S. spotlight, despite the crappy media bashing done on him lately.

Thanks, Lyn.

I visit this board often, but have no time to post.
If someone still quistions the incident, there is a video of David in the airport:
http://news.sky.com/skynews/video/video ... 00,00.html
It's clearly seen, that he was NOT drunk, but did not feel good. He explained something about his arm.
I agree with Nat. And I've dicided do not post the story on my own website, too.
I've thought myself that someone ordered these articles. Why not? I think it is quite profitable for a few people...
