I looked thru the episode guide and I cannot find it. I think he was a doctor or something, and was only in the episode very briefly. Who can tell me which one it was?

William Daniels played Dr. Mark Craig on "St. Elsewhere", but did not appear on screen in Knight Rider as far as I know.

There was discussion about this before...someone thought William Daniels played a member of the prison parole board at the beginning of "Brother's Keeper". If you watch that scene, there is a man who looks VERY similar to Daniels, but it is definately not him.

For years I thought William Daniels played the father of the waitress in "The Wrong Crowd." But eventually I realized it wasn't him.

correct William Daniles played Mr Feenie or how ever you spell it on boy meets world and next door neighbour on the show. Back in the seventies he did the Dr. Mark Craig on St. Elsewhere part and was also in a few movies one famous one of the time was Oh God Book 1 with John Denver and George Burns he played the manager of the store where denver worked in the movie, in the ninties he was in a movie almost all the way through Called Her Alaby with Magnam PI's Tom Selleck, out of all the stuff hes done
I think he does a good job and some movies and series his done like Knight Rider Boy Meets World or Whatever without him adding comedy or whatever
would not be the same without him William your A Legend I think he probabley already knows that :D 8)

OK, thanks!

I guess I was confused. I could have sworn I read somewhere that he was actually in an episode, but only very briefly. I guess I got the doctor image in my mind from St. Elsewhere. :)

I heard he appeared in a Baywatch episode as a cameo driving
a black and gold 82-83 Trans Am, he asked Mitch for directions to a boat launch or something then Mitch is like "do i know you from somewhere" ?
then Daniels replies "fraid not, i get that alot though."

if anyone could confirm this that would rule.

I think that a couple of the folks in KR made a cameo in Baywatch? Didn't Devon play a mad scientist or something in one of the episodes? Or am I thinking of something else?

Edward was in Baywatch Nights as I recall reading about it. Yes he was a scientist of some kind. I think that was his last TV apperence before he died. He had lung cancer.

Alot of people thought William Daniels played one of the car thieves in the pilot, but this is not the case. Bert Rosario is the car thief that people confuse to be William Daniels, William did not appear on screen in KR.

I used to wonder if Commander Smythe from Custom KITT was the voice of KITT.

I could be wrong, but it really looks like william daniels is one of the guys working on the vehicle in "knight of the juggernaut." I would be almost willing to bet money he's the guy that first activates the detonator whatchamacallit on the battering ram. but I could also be wrong!

I'm surprised that nobody's brought up Doo-Doo....I mean Voo-Doo Knight.

Then again...very forgettable episode.
