Kitt vs Karr things got me thinking!

Got thinking In Kitt VS Karr when John first drives Karr and says "Music".
A cassette pops in and on come "jump" my the pointer sisters.
As Karr has been buried on the beach for 2 years at that point where did that cassette come from?
That song would have been a hit about the time the episode was made.
I always think these days music etc would be on Kitt or Karrs Hard derive not a cassette.
But maybe no one had thought back then about that!
