Good news for Australian KR fans.

I work at a Sydney radio station and we ran a story in the news today that Hass is on his way to town to present an award at the upcoming ARIAs (Aussie Grammies).

That's good. I hope that the music industry doesn't cater to amateurs like America does, a la "American Idol"......

Australian Idol rules the airwaves down here at the moment for the 3rd time!

Oh, crap! Sorry...Not a fan of the overhyped "American Idol".
Anyhow, I think D. Hasselhoff will somewhat bring a little sanity to the proceedings anyhow, and hopefully the "American Idol" craze will eventually peter out.
One can only hope.

Hasselhoff is friends with Mark Holden an Australian Idol judge and Rove McManus has been trying to get him to appear on Rove Live

I didn't know that, so thanks for the information about that. I hope he still has a good time at that awards show.
I hope DH will eventually be an awards show presenter here in the U.S., because I feel most awards shows in the U.S. aren't worth watching at all these days, at least I don't think so.
I miss him being asked to be a presenter at U.S. awards shows these days.
I hope you won't be offended by my comments.

Mark Holden actually wrote a lot of Hass's songs. Personally not a big fan, although I've met Holden and he's a great guy in the flseh.

We've put in a request for Hass at my station when he comes to town, so there is a slim chance I might get to meet him!

My goodness me! I didn't know that.. I might have to do a little digging to see exactly how many songs! Thanks for the info.

I might have to tune in to the ARIA's and even ROVE soon.. :)
