Best wishes for a happy birthday!
BIRTHDAY GUY: Actor/singer David Hasselhoff was born on this day in 1952 in Baltimore. Not just another pretty face, he paid his dues in the industry with six seasons on the CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless" before moving into prime-time fame with the hit '80s series "Knight Rider." Although best known in the U.S. for playing the head lifeguard on the TV shows "Baywatch" and "Baywatch Nights," in Europe he is a popular recording artist.

Happy birthday Mr. Hasselhoff
When I turned 30, it felt like what Michael Knight said in Many Happy Returns, it's one of those birthdays when you realize you've had lots of birthdays

Years sure goes fast...

Lyn - I agree, age is nothing but a number. I looked in the mirror on my birthday and didn't think I looked my age. I'm sure Mr. Hasselhoff can relate to that every time he looks in the mirror. He doesn't look 53!
Knight Girl - 53! Herbie! That's good luck for them both.

well, he was in his 30s in Knight Rider, right? He was never the youngest "young loner" that ever loned

I think D. Hasselhoff feels like a friend to me for some strange reason, whereas a certain heiress feels so much like a stranger.
This has nothing to do with D, Hasselhoff's b-day, per se; just the vibe I get from him....
Here's hoping he'll give a whole new meaning to, ahem, being 53 nonetheless!

Even on Logan's Run they at least were allowed to live until they were, what, 32?

Sorries, I guess I am sorta pessimistic when it comes to age.
That and sometimes I miss the 'care free' of being a kid.

I'm not sure I miss being a kid that much, especially since my own childhood and teenaged years I'd like to
not relive so much right now.
I don't have a b-day the same month as D. Hasselhoff, but I do have a birthday after the 15th day
of the month(a different one) like he does, though....
