The New York Daily News reviewed "Herbie: Fully Loaded" and the writer says

"Robinson and her writers put nostalgia to work for them with a cute credits sequence that fills us in on events in Herbie's life in the 25 years since the last installment, 1980's "Herbie Goes Bananas." (A close friendship with "Knight Rider's" K.I.T.T. apparently kept the lean years interesting.)"

And Knight N.Y. over at Registries saw a preview of the film and confirms that KITT does have a quick cameo.

lol maybe thats disney returning the favor for when a herbie-like bug made a few appearances in various knight rider episodes, lol

Oh boy! My baby sister is going to flip out. She loves Knight Rider and Herbie. We're supposed to go see Herbie soon...

Oh that's so cool! I seriouly have to go see that moive now. What a great combo! Two of my most favorite cars, KITT and Herbie together. It's probably a good thing that I read this because now I know what to expect. I'm sure I would have shouted with excitement in the theater. Heck maybe I still will.

Yep! I've seen HFL 2 times so far and, in the beginning montage of all the past Herbie movies, as it's showing newspaper articles of Herbie's success, it shows one with a headline "Herbie Hangs out with Knight Rider." IT WAS SO COOL!!! The picture was taken from "Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo", but, they put a computer generated KITT in the place of Herbie's girlfriend, a Lancia named Gisselle. His scanner was moving and all. It was cool!

"KITT, you've been served." !?!?!?! Now that was not nice! The original Herbie was all right, but KITT is and will always be waaaaaaaaay better. I wanted to see this movie until I heard Lindsay Lohan was in it. Can we say *cough* *gag* yuck!?

Sounds like the new Herbie movie's interesting, but I didn't know about a KITT sighting in the movie until now, so hopefully KITT will come vrooming soon himself moviewise......

I just saw the movie today it was about as good as the other movies and I don't see why everyone is against it because Lindsay Lohan is in it. I hate her but I still thought it was a great movie I wish they could have picked someone other than Lindsay maybe then more people would actually think its not a plotless waste of time movie. I didn't see Kitt anywhere so maybe I missed him.

Yes, I'm sure the movie's quality doesn't have to do with Lindsay Lohan, the girl who threw a hissy-fit because her life-altering song isn't played until the credits. And that's probably a good thing.

My love of Herbie completely overrides my dislike for Lindsey Lohan so I'm still going to see the movie. The only reason I don't care for Ms. Lohan is that she's not exactly a good role model for her fan base which is predominately young girls like my 10 year old cousin.

I also loathe that BRAT Lindsay Lohan, and her character was awful. I only wanted to see this movie because it had a car that could think and drive itself, but the film was over-whelmed with far too much Lindsay Lohan and her disgusting big breasts. Man, I hate big breasts. Anyway, KITT being in the movie was a total surprise!!! I hollered out in the theatre, "YEAH!!! KITT RULES, MAN!!!!" I couldn't help myself!! I didn't catch the article in it, though, "The Knight Rider gets owned," or something like that?? Impossible!!! Herbie's speedometer only goes up to 200, and KITT and easily top 300 (or more in SPM). AND KITT has better acceleration than Herbie.

I also noticed several times in KR where I've seen bugs that looked like Herbie, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who's seen it!!!

LOL. heh, i probably would have yelled out saying something how much KITT rocks too! course, i doubt ill see herbie in the movies. we always think about seeing movies but half of them really never even bother. oh well.

Well, of COURSE KITT could beat the General Lee; the Lee is just a normal car!!! Herbie at least is magical or whatever...and anyone remember in "Give me Liberty..." where KITT totally owns a Lee look-alike?

Not to mention Lee was a dumb dude, and KITT could beat any crap produced by the South.
