I remember when I first started collecting the episodes that I was so eager to get certain episodes.I can tell why he wants this episode
1.It talks about Michael Long
2.A good race between a trans am and Ferarri.

yeah knights of the fast lane has some really good chase/race scenes in it
along with a little CSI: FLAG going on
i always wondered, do you think that jim courtney figured out that michael knight used to be michael long? i know he gave him his badge, but do you think he just figured that michael was similar to him, or do you think after the "jimbo" comment he knew that he was..
also, something i never understood. was mchael long a rookie when he was shot by tanya? they make him appear to be, but while his "partner" KOTP is muncie, it seems his real partner is jim courtney.
always confused me.
KITT had some good one liners in this one too
"that car isnt fit to shine my bumpers!"
"if your going to use a multimillion dollar system to read a 25 cent paper, you should at least read the front page"
"22 men in mock war regalia fighting for control of an air filled bladder shaped like a pigskin, some american institutions confuse me, but football is a total mystery" (i have to say i agree with KITT 100 percent on this one)

I think that he was trained by Jimbo but as he was promoted to leiutenant he was teamed with Mutsie.
