People have been talking a lot about music licensing now that the DVDs are being released. It seems that the man who originally handled the music for Knight Rider passed away recently. (The article says April 25, but because it just appeared in yesterday's paper I think it might have actually been May 25)
From Daily Variety:
Excerpt:
"Michael Rogers, executive director of film music for Universal Pictures Music, died April 25 in Los Angeles of cancer. He was 55....
In 1981 he became head of the music library for Universal Pictures and was responsible for music preparation and music licensing on TV shows and movies from 'Knight Rider' to 'Jurassic Park.'"
