I thought it would be interesting to start a thread for those who like to create their own CDs inspired by Knight Rider. I'm sure we could see all kinds of interesting songs listed, maybe even some we haven't heard in years or new stuff to try out! :)

I'll start by posting my CD label (LabelWhiz lables and Nero's label maker) and my playlist. For copyright reasons, I obviously can't make CDs. :) Yes, I do buy songs off of several services, like MSN, iTunes, and MusicMatch if anyone is interested in finding some of the non-KR tunes.

Note that my musical tastes are mostly Techno with a bit of Dance, Rap and even some 70s and 80s stuff, Metal, etc. But here I made a mostly Techno set. :)

Very nice graphic for the label, FuzzieDice. That looks really sharp.

Thank you. :) I don't get to see the label much in my CD player though. I love the songs! Hopefully others will too...

I can't wait to see what others can come up with. I'm thinking of making another one about KARR. :)

Wow that's a pretty extensive list! Techno definitely rules. Where did you find the Soul Survivor music? I remember reading a thread where someone had a link to the song but I don't know it anymore.

Thanks. :) I'm a big Techno fan myself.

I'm not sure where I found the Soul Survivor, either. I'm just glad I happened to have saved it in my KR Scrapbook when I did. :)

BTW, The list of songs will fit on one 80 min. CD-R if you burn it as an Audio CD. Then you can play it in nearly ANY player! :) That is, if you have everything transferred to the proper formats and all that stuff.

Here's one I did for KARR. :) Some tunes on this list are the same as ones on the KITT list but I felt they fit both. I didn't put only 1 authentic KR tune though and that was the KARR one in the beginning. I'd like to see some more KARR mixes. :?

BTW, in Ferry Corsten's "Punk" tune, the voice that goes "Didya turn punk?" sounds a lot like KARR! ;)

Wisconsin Death Trip by Static X Should be a part of the KARR mix CD.

Also, Slayer- Criminally Insane, Reborn, Piece By Piece, Spirit In Black, and Tormentor. Just some suggestions.

Well, I searched the forum and the link that Sith gave in one of the threads is no longer working. :(

TurbomanKnight - Hey, post a full play list in the order you think the songs could go. :) I will have to look into some of those you mentioned. It's nearly 3am here so I'll try and do this another day. I'm always open to new music. :)

Sounds like you picked some pretty hard-core tunes, too. Just perfect since KARR is pretty hardcore himself. :)

I just thought of something else. Instead of "Road Tunes" another title could be "Road Kill", especially with TurbomanKnight's playlist. ;)

Awesome graphics Fuzziedice!

I've burned few cd-r:s about Knight Rider too but the songs have been the ones that played in KR episodes.
Two audiocd:s I burned from direct audioclips from the show. I recorded the parts from the episodes where's that great Knight Rider music by Don Peake or Stu Phillips or real songs, for example a cd of the musical scenes from Knight of the Phoenix added with full real songs played in that episode:
1. Intro
2. - 45. Knight of the Phoenix scenes that contains background music
46. End titles
47. Creedence Clearwater Revival -Proud Mary
48. The Eagles -Take It Easy
49. James Taylor -Carolina On My Mind
50. The Eagles -Peaceful, Easy Feeling
51. Fleetwood Mac -Don't Stop
52. Amazing Rhythm Aces -Third Rate Romance
53. Quarterflash -Harden My Heart
54. Pat Benatar -Hit Me With Your Best Shot

Just few days ago I burned a cd from 3 2nd season episodes, Custom KITT, Soul Survivor and Knightmares.
Then I've burned an audiocd with KR music + soundclips from the show.

As for cover art I haven't done anything special, just printed the tracknames with some KR images. The latest cd coverart I used photos of my 1:18 KITT model.

Thanks, KITTfan. :) That's a cool idea to do a playlist of songs used in the show. I a Rolling Stones song was in there too, but I forgot the name of it. Someone mentioned it in one of the threads not too long ago. If anyone is interested in what songs were in the shows, doesn't knightriderarchive.com have a list somewhere?

FuzzieDice: Those are very nice labels you've put together. I really like your style. And great collection starter in KITT-disc :-D Thanks for the compliment.
