David's comeback to the big screen starring Adam Sandler!!

Check it out everyone, moviehole posted this new news up today about David's new movie!!!
Seems those latter episodes of "Angel" were right - the apocalypse is coming.
David Hasselhoff looks set to return to film, with a rather sizable role in a rather large-ish pic. You can blame Adam Sandler.
Sandler looks like enlisting the former brains behind "Baywatch" for a role in his next pic, "Click", says Variety. He'd play the funnyman's boss.
The much more bankable Kate Beckinsale ["Underworld"] is also in line for a role, says the trade.
"Click", from director Frank Coraci, will star Sandler as a chap who finds a magical remote control that enables him to rewind and fast-forward through parts of his life. Trouble kicks in when the remote starts to make the choices for him.
The film begins production in Mid-June.
Well, no Knight Rider for now, but him with Adam will rock!

This is getting confusing! OK, we now have TWO Adam Sandler movies with a Knight Rider connection:
Bench Warmers: Produced by Adam Sandler, but Sandler is NOT starring in it. KITT will make an appearance in the film. Hasselhoff is not in it.
Click: Starring Adam Sandler and David Hasselhoff, KITT does NOT appear in it.

Bench Warmers is currently in production. My GUESS is that it will be released this fall. Sounds like it would tie in well with the end of baseball season (October-ish).
According to Variety, Click has been in development since at least December 2003. If a silly Adam Sandler movie takes 18 months to move forward, it kind of gives some perspective as to why Knight Rider is moving slowly.
Sometimes things get fast-tracked, sometimes they don't.

I'm glad for a D. Hasselhoff comeback in an Adam Sandler movie or almost every other kind of movie there is!

"Comeback"? He never went away! Every year he seems to be getting busier and busier with his music, theater, and appearances in other films.
But it does sound like this may be a meatier role for him, and not just a self-mocking cameo. I agree, THAT will be a welcome change.

I'm glad he's doing a movie with Adam Sandler, because I'd rather see him do that than a reality TV show.
I'm still happy he'll perform in the U.S. again as well, too.

To David Hasselhoff, if you're visiting this site: welcome back to the U.S. spotlight and go knock'em dead in New Jersey!

I have looked at a couple of his web sites and there is no mention of it. How did you find out about it? I remember I wanted to go see in Atlantic City a few years ago, when he was doing Baywatch, but I could not get the time off from work. STUPID WORK!

Adam Sandler is a really goofy movie star, so it's apparent that D. Hasselhoff wants to join in that fun! lol!

Since DH and KITT are doing seperate movies now I hope they realize that they need to be toghter.. Hopefully sooner than later.
I only have one memory of seeing KITT at the Baltimore Convention Center. The time I got there DH was already gone.

I can't believe I missed him. I still get upset about it.

A shame the Apprentice isn't filming now... they might have had an assignment at the Trump Taj Majal like they did a while ago, only this time it could be with David.

I had originally posted news on davidhasselhoffonline.com about the Bollywood Awards on April 19th, but I had added other news on above it after that. I got a confirmation from Bollywood a few days later on the 22nd saying David would not perform, but just attend, so that was the last news I had gotten about this event. Hopefully there will be some more news and pics from the event soon...please check back!

Ah, it's all starting to make sense now.
Jon Heder checked into a hotel here in Seattle a couple weeks ago, and around that same time, I saw an authentic K.I.T.T. parked right out in front of my building. It had the old school blue/yellow california license plate that said KNIGHT on it, and it had the pulsing red light going back and forth up front... the real deal.
Wow...
Well, that explains why I saw it, and what Heder is doing here in Seattle, huh?
