That's a pretty impressive collection you have there, Josch. I see some imitation K.I.T.T.s and other KR stuff I've never seen before.

Is that a real License plate in the picture?

Hi Peoples

Some stuff is from Germany Merchandise or what you mean? Yes, thats a real License Plate. I am very happy to have that thing. We have a big store in Oldenburg/Germnay called METRO and i have by this plate there for 5 Euros years ago. Have you got any questions, then ask :-)

Very nice collection, I only wish I had those original 80's KITT toycars too.

Very nice Josch, the only KITT toy that you're missing (it seems) is the Talking Kenner KITT. Do you plan on acquiring one later? If so, it would become your largest KITT toy ever and would probably be the center of your collection. :)

@HondaSiR

*roflol* you got pal. But i must say we have problems here in germany to find the Talking Car from Kenner becaus its extrem RARE and if you find someone you become it not under 100 Euros, its like the merchandise from Saber Rider Japan. So hard to go on :-(. But i looking forword to it. In the Next Time or today i show you more pics of my ERTL KITT to all :-)

Just keep looking for one in ebay. Go outside of ebay Germany so you will have more Kenners to choose from. I agree that KR merchandise are pretty expensive when bought from German ebay sellers. Go for worldwide US sellers, that's where I bought mine from two years ago (for about $60.00 without the doll, but it talks! I bought the doll separately). Good Luck! :D

You can try modifying your diecast ERTL KITT. Try to paint the rims flat black so that it will look more true to the show. And paint the front fender vents gloss black. 8)

You can also try to mimic the turn signal blackouts.

HondaSIR- What did you use to paint between the grooves?

I will be adding three more goodies to my collection soon:

1. Knight Rider: Hearts Of Stone (book #3 in the series. I still have to get #4 and #5 to complete the set).

2. TWO 1/24 KITT model kits (the common ones selling on eBay right now). One I'll do up as KARR though.

I know I know, I should have went for the die-casts, but not yet.... Going to save some $$ for now, at least, hopefully. :)

Oh yeah, and

3. Knight Rider Season 2 DVD set. :)

All on order.

I used Tamiya Flat Black (XF-1) paint for the small square holes on the rims. For the fender vent I used Tamiya Black (X-1). They were both hand painted.

Did you use a toothpick or a brush?

I used a brush, a very small one also from Tamiya. You could also try to use a very pointy toothpick, it may just be easier to work with since with a brush you will really need a steady hand.

Which collection? Mine? I didn't post pictures of my toys because most of what I have, the other members have already posted (Except perhaps a built 1982 1/24 scale Monogram Firebird, the one Michael Long drove before being shot in the face. I have some pics of it in the ERTL KITT thread but I'll copy it on your thread anyway) :D
