Nice find :D

Be fantastic if it turns out to be true,

however I think towards the end of the year around October,November would be more realistic.

After all it would only be 2 months from the Second season release.

I'd be surprised if S2 came out earlier than December.

Hopefully there will be some more bonus materials, but if there isn't, I'm still happy to have KR on DVD.

Bonus materials??? on a 'universal' release? you must be joking :!:
We had luck with S1 release, but unfortunaly it's not likely to happen again with the rest of the seasons.

Is it December or June? I think we may be getting our 12's and 6's confused. That would indeed rock if it was June. December is equally as awesome. Even though season 2 was my favorite, and I would still be content if they decided to stop there, season 3 had a lot of good stuff. Stuff that is seemingly fading from my memory. Watching those episodes today really supriessed me as to how much I had forgoten. Like "Custom made Killer." I'm confident that I have seen every episode of the show (at least 50% of them from the original airings) but I cannot remember seeing this one. Parts seemed familiar, like the hitman.

Getting old I guess

The website in question is a primarily American website, so I'd assume 12/6/2005 would refer to December 6, 2005 for the region 1 USA release. That would be eight months (roughly) after season 2's R1 USA release, which is consistent with it's R1 USA season 1 release.

S1 - Aug 2004
S2 - Apr 2005
S3 - Dec 2005
S4 - July/Aug 2006 (Probably, following this line of logic, eight months (or so) after S3's USA release.)

Dec. sounds like a good time for me. I got season one as a Christmas gift (i know it came out in Aug. but i was a good little child and waited until X-mas), season 2 im buying myself, and then if Season 3 comes in Dec. i'll just wait until Christmas again. Even though I love KR, it's great to not have to pay for all the sets myself. :D

That would rock if it were out by December! :) I would love to see KITT vs. KARR again. KARR was awesome in that episode. :)

DVD-Home in the Netherlands suggests that Knight Rider Season 2 R2 will be released on July 21st 2005 and R2 Season 3 on October 15th 2005 so I believe that R1 release for S2 and S3 will be a bit earlier.

Nice find citizen_x! Since it is Sci-Fi which is owned by NBC Universal it could be possible. But until it appears on universalstudios.com it is most likely a planned date, but not locked into stone.

That would make sense with Universal's "momentum" idea. They try to keep a momentum with season releases which basically means a half-assed job on each set from now on. In this case and many others, no more bonus features, probably mediocre picture quality, and possibly altered music. I don't mean to rain on everyone's parade but I just have no faith in this company. But the December date seems about right to me.

Regardless, it beats my cut up, poor quality received, aging copies that I have on VHS.

I am just glad to see all the episodes FINALLY being released on DVD in season bundles...for not too much cash.
