I was cruising ebay and found a KITT replica for sale for (at the time) $2225. I thought that that was amazing and weird until I read on and saw the pics below. He said that it was an older car and it had still needed work but only minor things; i.e. scanner and rims. He said that he was selling those in another action. But if you proceed down to see the pictures you will see that there is a lot more work then stated! The entire dashboard will need to be done including the steering wheel and the buttons on the roof! I'm not going to say that the car isn't in good condition but please state the facts when you are selling.

Here is the link to the item:

Why are they selling this car as a KITT replica? Besides the nose and the lamps, it really is just a Trans Am! And 1987 at that, not even the years used in the real Knight Rider cars. It does appear to be in good condition, but pictures lie   :P I would like to see this car for myself and truth be told, if this were my car I would use a newspaper not Ebay! After putting all that time and work into him, wouldn't you want someone who would actually come see and test ride him? Not someone bidding blindly? Just my opinion, but I'm 14 so what do I know :D

Judging by superficial appearances only, that's really not a bad donor car at all. The PMD seats are already included and the interior fabric looks to be in great shape, and its a T-top. The fog lights could easily be changed for accuracy. All you'd really need for the outside is the "bowling ball" hub caps with turbo cast rims, tail light blackout, and to remove the wrap around wing spoiler. Drop the car about an inch or two, add a dashboard and you're all set.
