Knight Rider cheat codes

A long time ago, I saw 2 cheat codes for the Region 1 Knight Rider game. One of them is "power01." This allows SPM on all levels of the game. The second one is the one I have teh most questions about. It's called "roam01." Now I have no idea what this code does. If someone will be kind enough to tell me about this code, what it allows, and how you make it work, I would be most grateful.
