I have a TON of questions about replicas and building them. So if you have a moment, please help me out!

Can anyone tell me if Mark's Custom KITTs are accurate? Who has the most accurate parts (int., ext., etc.)? Oh yeah, and my other questions...

1. How much did your replica cost? (Made it yourself or turnkey doesn't matter.)
2. What did you do with the TV/s? Real survailance, cable, DVD, etc.
3. What engine do you have or what engine is fuel efficient but sounds like the one from the show?
4. What is functional in your car? If something isn't functional, is it lighted or does it have sound?
5. And lastly, if you built your own replica, would you be willing to answer any other questions I come up with?

Thats all I can think of right now. If anyone has pictures from the show showing the dash, tail lights, door LEDS, gas pedal LEDS, etc. in detail please post them here too. Thanks!

Knight224, I hope you dont mind me adding a question to the list. :)

I got a question about MCK. Does Mark accept visitors? I'm going to Florida next weekend for a week. Where I will be staying it, wouldn't be that far away from MCK. So I was thinking of Making a trip there with the old man.

I'm currently building my replica by myself with a lot of help from a friend of mine. The exterior phase it complete. I am concentrating on getting the rest of the interior converted over to tan at the moment.

I know the nose Mark offers separately is a lot different from the one that comes on his turn keys. The separate nose is a unique creation and tends to be a little to long for my tastes. The turn key nose is molded from original. I myself have a Rob Louisell season 1/2 nose that was based on a molded from original season 4 nose that was modified to look like a season 1/2 nose. I believe Rob is phasing out that nose in favor of a more Don Colie inspired nose.

1. I currently have about 13 grand invested in mine. It's a full exterior conversion at the moment. Most of that, 8 grand at least, was the price of the donor. Once I get my tax return I plan on having it re-painted and the have the seats redone.

2. I intend to have two A/V plugs mounted under the dash, one for each tv. That way I can route whatever I feel like into the monitors.

3. I have the 3.1 liter V6. I guess it was fuel efficient 15 years ago, but I get about 11-12 mpg. It has a little twang to it. Definately not as loud as a 350 but easily gets confused for a 305. My neighbors tell me they can hear it coming from a block away.

4. The only interior component I have at current are the pod buttons. They are static display buttons that are just for show. The only thing functional are two switches in the over head that controll the inner bank of fog lights and scanner. I intend to have dummy buttons in my lower console. The only things that will work in my LC are going to be the power mirror and window switches.

5. Absolutley, send 'em to me. Glad to help.

Here it is at the moment:
