I realize that KITTs license plate is issued in California, that way you knew the story line of KR was set in California, however on the TV show BARETTA, you can tell that the show was filmed in Los Angeles, however the license plate on Baretta's Impala, and other vehicles in the show do not show a state as to where the car's are register, meaning the writers of the show set the show in an unamed major metropolitan city in the U.S. Also you sometimes see California license plates have blue tape covering "California" Why would the producers do that? Im interested on hearing input from everyone whether it is right or wrong[/i]

For example , In the episode "GOLIATH RETURNS" the scene when they transport that swedish scientist from a brown van and into GOLIATH you see the license plate clearly on the van (as it pulls up) and the license number. It was blue and yellow like that of California plates but it did not say what state the plate was from. Very wierd.
