PROBELMS WITH THE KNIGHT RIDER DVD- GIVE ME LIBERTY...

I've been watching the DVD now and when I get to the episode "Give me liberty or give me death" it starts on chapter 2. When i try to manually bring the DVD to chapter 1 it goes over it and back to chapter 2. When I use the scene index it goes to chapter 2 after trying unsuccessfully to find chapter 1.

I think I found a probelm! Check your DVDs folks!

martymcfly1985 - an e-mail won't be sufficient. i strongly suggest to go back to the store you bought it in the first place

Hey,

Welcome and sorry to hear that you may have a problem with your disc. If you think your disc is flawed, bring it back to the point of purchase, it will be the easiest way to get a replacement. I would double check the surface to look for scratches or smudges, as the double sided discs are sadly more susceptible to damage.

It is bad when you have been waiting for so long for it.

I am a lucky one too mine is fine.

But as Neps said double sided disc's are easy to damage, and the in the case it is in as nice looking as it is, you could scratch the thing easy!

But you should have no trouble changing it!

Just got to this episode and mine has a 15 second defect. After the opening credits the timer jumps up on my DVD past the 1:48 mark up to the 2:02 mark...I only miss a bit of the race round the track and no credits of the episode.

I would imagine sometimes in massed produced DVDs ther can be a glitch. I have noticed some delays in chapter changes in some eps.

I have noticed some delays in chapter changes in some eps.
That's maybe because the dvd player has to switch layers. In some cases there may be a delay then. I was told that it's different from player to player.

Unfortuneately DVD ISNT as good a format as VHS. DVD STILL is not 100% accepted by all. Some players might have problems where others wouldnt.

As fair as the DVD box set, as i posted before, I stored mine away and bought dvd cases for each disc. They are safer in there.

Plus ive had ZERO problems.

I've got that problem too, but with White Bird, whenever I try to play it it freezes and says unable to read disc, I have to call Universal because i returned my DVD set 2 times because of scratches and errors, then Best Buy told me there getting new batches in since the first batches were all messed up.

Wow I feel lucky, while I haven't watch it all the way through. I have watched the problmatic episodes and haven't had a prob. My suggestions to those with probs. Just got to the store that you bought it from and replace it

hot knight- if you do that with every season assuming each one will be 3-4 discs, you're going to have a lot of extra DVD cases, whereas you could just have 4 box sets instead, but I'm sure you enjoy making your own. Good job on those btw, they all look genuine stock manufactured!

Thank You lost knight.

Yes i would have alot of them but they would be in durable plastic not cardboard that would end up fraying in the creases and tearing after a while. Plus the box set seems so damn bulky you have to open it up real wide just to get a disc.

As I said before - they are great. However - Hot_Knight I am wondering why the U.S. postal service is so slow. I still haven't recieved them in the mail. I geuss it really does take longer than one week for international mail orders, huh. I might just ry to get my landlords printer fixed so that I can print them up. Like I said before - I definitly want to have a copy of them for myself. That is one reason why I HATE snail mail. Anyhoo - have a good day ya'll.
