That IS good news! 
I just ordered my set from BUY.com tonight (they have it for about $42 USD). If enough people buy it then we should see a season 2 soon. I hope they eventually get all 4 seasons out.
I can't wait to get my set.

Like was mentioned in another thread, the Knight Rider DVD charted higher on Video Business Weekly, then did Quantum Leap which has it's second season coming out shortly, so I would say thats a good sign for a next season release.
And I doubt we'll get exact numbers for amount of product sold, they are strangely tight lipped about that, unless it's a big hit when they talk about the millions they made on the DVD sales.
