I remember that toy car from years back. Some mates, when I was in infants school, was riding it around the playground during break times.

I was jealous cos i never had one of my own but had plenty of KR stuff to keep me happy :D

I saw one of those on eBay a couple of months ago. I kinda knew what it was even before the picture finished loading. I think I can sense things? :?

Cool Photo!

What a neat photo! See, when I was young I never got any of the Knight Rider toys probably because I am female. I know when I got punished I couldnt watch the show though!!! Its only now I am buying stuff on ebay, my husband thinks I am nuts!

Sadly, I was already too big for the Knight Rider pedal car when it came out. However, that doesn't mean I haven't ridden one. :)

there is something disturbing at the local wal mart.there is the similar size kitt that is a coin operated ride for the kids.(i have seen a few back in the day and was too big to fit in the damn thing.i also think i would have attracted too much attention at the malls where i had seen them :D) but back to the subject at hand.this wal mart has one of the coin operated kitt's(red light and all) but unfortunately i guess it had some wear and tear so instead op repainting it black, they painted it exactally like jeff gordon's dupont race car  every time i walk out of the store i wonder if they know what they have their hands on.i even thought about making them an offer for it and making it back to origional.i wonder what they are worth???

I don't know their value. A long time ago, someone may have posted a figure about the kiddie rides. Seems like the price wasn't all that much, really.

I have one of those near where I work. Even took photos. Sadly, it too has been repainted and reworked.

I would love to see the photos that you have of it. A little coin opperated kiddie ride K.I.T.T car - that is just beautiful. If you still have the photos - would you consider posting them?

These are two different cars: one was a KITT ride in upstate New York about 15 years ago; the other was in Long Beach California about 5 years ago. You can see how they just painted over an old KITT to make it a fire car. Sad.
