Hello,
While running an errand at the local mall yesterday, I happened to cut through the Nordstroms dept. store. Imagine my reaction when I saw prominently displayed (in the Men's section), a new never-before seen Knight Rider shirt w/ KITT! This shirt looks really good! Its Made by "BC Ethic", and is in a series of official "Barris Kustom" shirts they make. (among others I saw an A-team "I pity the Fool!" shirt w/ the van, etc.). Now, I did some research online, and cannot find any trace of this particular shirt's existence - BC Ethic made/(makes?) a different KR shirt which was available online to order for some time, that was fairly bland... but its not at all like the one I saw today. I shall describe the shirt below:
-Heavy navy blue t-shirt (Short-sleeve)
-We see a passenger-side-forward view of KITT, prominently displayed over an attractive white "grid"-like background. Scanner shows correct 8 segments, w/ the edge segments lit up (as if it was in the process of scanning)
- "KNIGHT RIDER" (In original Font) is centered above KITT..
Price $25.. seems like a pretty good deal. I don't have a digital camera but am going to try to find a way to obtain a picture of it.. its sweet!.. If someone has a Nordstroms near them, check it out!! (and if you have a camera, post a pic!)

Wow... that sounds a little low-brow for Nordies, but I'll head out to mine tomorrow. If I get lucky I'll be able to wear a cool new Knight Rider shirt to a Superbowl party. (let them laugh)

See, 80's are popular all over again.

I guess that makes us feel old. I mean all the 80's kids are adults now, and naturally they want to remember their youth so...

Hm, HotTopic.com seems to have a similar shirt, did you happen to check out the back of the shirt? This one here has a KITT quote, which always reminds me of Kenner's Talking Voice car.
A double sided shirt for $18 bucks, and in black, sign me up! Although it looks like they only have XS and SM shirts online, so that probably knocks out alot of us, myself included. Perhaps in the actual store they have other sizes.

That would be a nice image to silk screen onto a T-shirt. Says you are a fan of '80s modified vehicles.

a little off topic, but barris had NOTHING to do with the creation of the ECTO-1 from GHOSTBUSTERS.... nor the original GENERAL LEE.
i'd love to pick up this shirt, however i don't have that store in my area...

My Nordstroms had T-Shirts for Starsky & Hutch, Mr. T, even a generic 70s Trans Am. But no Knight Rider

I believe this may be one of the "bland" shirts you were refering to (found in a google search):

If it did not say Barris Kustoms '84 on it, I probably would buy one.

A got myself a KR T shirt here in the uk the other week.
It's black with the front shot of Kitt on the purple background.
And a few shots of the dash too.
It cost £10.
A little exspencive for just a T shirt, but hay if it has Knight rider on it chance's are I'll buy it!

Mine cost 12 quid. personally, i think it was worth the price.
20 is a little over the top though.

I bought one of the BC Ethic shirts and it arrived today. I have to say I actually hate it. I'm a pretty slim guy and the size large shirt is skin tight on me. Living in Los Angeles, I don't have a lot of use for heavy shirts but I was thinking since it was a "thermal shirt" it would be good to wear when I go skiing. That won't work because it is uncomfortably tight. Maybe if you're a pumped-up gym rat who wants to show off how big your chest is, this might be the shirt for you. But it sure ain't me.
Very, very disappointed. I've never gotten rid of a piece of Knight Rider merchandise before but I may see if I can exchange this one.

OK, XS is extra small, but theres nothing on the chart which shows what SM is? small medium?

SM is I'm pretty sure Small. Or S&M and really tight like Mike's shirt?
Shame to hear that it didn't work out, it kinda looked like crap on the picture. Those cuffs on the sleeves made it look very constricting.
