I saw that episode today and do recall a part of that happenning. I don't know exactly what he did. But are you talking about where Bonnie told KITT not to pick up Michael's bad habits, then he said something to show he has?

As always, Paul's Knight Rider Archive gives us some insight with the script:
http://www.fortunecity.com/lavender/007/315/
It doesn't come across very well on-screen.
BONNIE
Kitt, I hope you're not picking up his warped sense of humor
K.I.T.T.
I'm trying my best not to.
Bonnie sits in the driver's seat.
BONNIE
Good.
Suddenly she jumps a little like she's been pinched on the bottom.
BONNIE
Kitt! Try a little harder.
ANGLE - K.I.T.T.'S SCANNER
He flashes it devilishly.
Here's a low-quality clip of the scene. 448k QuickTime.

Here's a little tidbit: An orange 1969 doge charge was in this episode, the dukes of hazzard car. This was put in for a promotion to show KR was better than the Dukeof H

Yes, it does come off as KITT being "fresh" in some way, but I couldn't think how that would be possible.

*laughs* The beginning scene was hilarious. I like those soft moments in Knight Rider because we don't get too many of those. KITT that little devil doing something to Bonnie. hehehe

Guys,
What happened was, Bonnie said she couldn't go out with Michael because she was spending the night with KITT, switching it to hydrogen fuel, purging its systems, charging batteries etc. Michael said Purging systems? KITT, don't let her take advantage of you. Then Knight leaves, and Bonnie tells KITT not to pick up his warped sense of humor, he says I'll try not to, she does something, reacts, then says Try Harder.
Clearly, Bonnie had a circuit board open, and the computer redirected power so as to intentionally shock her. Somewhat like we used to do on submarines, he he. Just kidding, we would never play with that kind of amperage.
Note that it is against the SSORM to intentionally give or recieve an electric shock.

Also note that the SSORM says nothing about gambling.
(seriously: even if it doesn't pass through your heart directly, it is still possible to die from even a mild shock. it has happened before. Very small amperage can kill you. That's why you're supposed to report to medical if you get shocked in the USN. So as a former submarine sonar tech, I have to note, don't try this at home kids.)

Well I think its nice to see KITT has developed Michael's sense of humor.

To me it seems out of character for KITT, but that made it all the more funny.
Oh, and once when I was younger we had this huge old fan set up in my garage. Somehow I ended up touching it (I think on a dare...it had been known to bite back before), and it sent a huge surge through my body that felt...gooey. To my knowledge the fan had no ulterior motive, but I've been suspicious of the things ever since. Stupid fans.
(sorry for going off on a tangent like that...seeker's post brought back the memory.

)

Hmmm... Maybe KARR wasn't trying to hurt Bonnie in Trust Doesn't Rust after all... Maybe it was just his way of getting frisky!
(Bonnie gets a zap after trying to sabotage KARR).
