Just wanted to let everybody know that I have been invited to do a 50 minute interview on 1220AM here in Newburgh, NY on the Knight Rider Legacy book. They carry Yankee games so they do not broadcast over the internet.
I will however be getting a tape of the airing and if I can will offer some snipets for download to you I will. The gentlemen's name who will be interviewing me will be Chris and its a TALK/NEWS/SPORTS kind of station.
Even better K104.7 here in the same area has offered me to do a themed show around Knight Rider (everything from playing Whitebird to Punjabi MC) in a few weeks (late June). As that progesses I will give you an update because they are broadcast over the net. It's called the Woodman in the morning show with Lynn Kelly and its my favorite here in New York.
With the Punjabi single still hot on the radio, interest in interviews suddenly heated up.
And yes Neil, I will mention

Sounds pretty cool Richie, good luck! I'll add a notice in the news section about it.
Is this the radio station you are talking about? If so it looks like they have a web feed! They probably just block it out when they air the Yankees.

(if so, feed doesn't seem to function, bah)

Sorry wasnt near the net till this morning. It was cool, Chris was a big South Park fan and his show is true talk radio. We went back and forth for a bit, got a chance to talk about the series. I got an air check tape, but I dont have any hosting space at the moment to give you clips of it. I can send like 4-5 short 60 second clips to Neil if he wants so you can all hear the best parts.
Basically I talked about how it came together and towards the end I got to plug my new book Battlestar Galactica, so that went extrememly well. Chris joked that he was revisitiing his youth lol.
But in between a few mentions of the Dukes of Hazzard and My Mother The Car mixed in, along with giving a free book away to a caller.
The total time we talked was about 25 minutes.
Next up is K104 here in Poughkeepsie, NY. As soon as I hear back from Lynn Kelly about what Thu I will be on I will inform you all. The great news is that they have a website (
http://www.k104107.com i think) and its available over the net for all of you to listen to. The Woodman In The Morning Show is the most popular in this area up through Kingston and is the biggest station in the Hudson Valley.
Not to mention Knight Rider theme gets requested a lot on their TV Tunes Thursday, so I should fit right in.
I plan to give them a themed list of KR sample songs, so Busta Rhymes and Punjabi MC will fill out the morning (and a taste of Timberland and Mcgoo).
Thanks and as soon as Neil and I can work something out I will post audio clips.

Okay, the files are up. I tried converting them to real audio, but I was having a dickens of a time.
http://www.knightrideronline.com/audio
There are two options, one is a standard mp3 (10mb), the next is was is known as an mp4 (5mb). You'll need the latest version of quicktime to play the mp4 file, but it's half the size to download at basically the same audio quality.
If you have any troubles, please let me know. The interview is 21 minutes and 02 seconds long.
