A few nights ago I was at my local Shop Rite underground parking garage and loading up my groceries in my trunk when suddenly this song started playing on the garage speakers. Knew I must have looked like a weirdo singing along to an 80's Tina Turner song but it made me feel good. First time I heard it was season 4 Knight of the juggernaut, first episode I got my hands on from the series since it was taken off television from age 13, got the tape from my friend's dads collection original NBC screening. Anyone feel grateful that Knight Rider introduced you to a song you think of or hum along to these days? I also loved Jump in from Kitt vs Karr and Huey Lewis and the News has been in my head rattling around past few weeks with finally found a home in a song" from killer kitt.

A few weeks ago I had this song stuck in my head but couldn't put my finger on where I heard it but I KNEW it was from an episode of knight rider. It was in the episode diamond's aren't a girls best friend from season 2 "Rick Springfield - The Human Touch".

Lots of great songs in Knight Rider episodes.
Generally I like the 80's pop hit songs, like Laura Branigan's Self Control, Cruel Summer by Banararama, Owner of a Lonely Heart by Yes, Jump by Pointer Sisters, Telefone by Sheena Easton, etc.
Someone has even made a channel "Knight Rider FM" which has many songs played in Knight Rider:

"Run to You" and "Owner of a Lonely Heart" were two of my all time favorite 80s songs to begin with, and the scenes where they're playing over epic shots of KITT driving are just perfection.

"Let It Be Me" is Great(Michael and Stevie Sang it to Each Other in the Episode "Let It Be Me".

This week the song "You're the lucky one" by Laura Branigan from the episode Knight of the Chameleon in season 3. Haven't watched the episode in years just suddenly got the part of the song that was in the episode stuck in my head. Made it my wakeup ringtone.

The song they used when they were repairing Kitt in Junkyard Dog. "Break in Office" I love that synthesizer!
