Kitt free falling!

It's just occoured to me that there a 2 epidode's where Kitt fall's and uses a parachute.
Goliath returns and Sky Knight.
My thought is in the Sky Knight episode when Kitt reverses out of the plane, how come he doesen't flip upside down, or even spin a bit before the parachute is deployed?
I don'y think this realy applies to the "Goliath reurn's" incedent as Kitt was spinning on leaving the cliff.
Anyone any idea's on this one?
Or is it just one of those thing's a Knight Rider fan shoulden't think about?

speaking of these 2 episodes.... in goliath returns michael punches a bunch of random keys as if to try anything to survive and accidently deploys a parachute, like he didnt know it was there

now, if there WAS a parachute button, why did he not just use that in sky knight, instead of attatching the other chutes?

Most likely Bonnie yanked out the parachute feature, or RCIII did while installing the SPM jets.

Or it could just be that the writters either forgot or didn't know about the parachute function. (don't know if they had the same writers through the whole series?)

Or the writers may not have given the views enough credit in the brains department and thought we would forget about the parachutes

:D

I think it serves as a plot device myself. I mean how many times has KITT warned michael he wasn't alone, and how many times do we see michael snooping around and he gets knocked out by the bad guy/girl. I really don't think your suposed to think to hard about these things, it was a cheesey and fun sci fi show. ;) (ducks and waits to have big rocks thrown at him from people who think kitt is real...)

Many people are fans of Knight Rider and still call it cheesy. It was. It was a fun show. Cheesy doesn't necessarily mean bad, but it is accepting that the show was not meant to be absolutely serious. Even Hasselhoff had a good joke about it on occasion.

I don't take it seriously, but I think we'll have to agre to diagree on the cheesey issue.
If it is thought of as cheesey it's only becuase of the show's age.
Don't recall anyone calling it cheesey when it first aired.
I think it's just got taged as cheesey becuase the 80's are seen to be cheesey , these days.

It was in fact tagged as cheesy back in the 80's by some critics. And everybody is entitled to their own opinion. If you take it too seriously, however, then reality is a problem for you, isn't it?

Oh, and spellcheck is a very nice feature. :)

I'm a moderator, get a clue, rather obviously I take the board seriously. And MSKen doesn't misspell or misuse the majority of his words, like you have from day one. I just figured since we were telling others, that maybe I would help you out.

I mentioned it again, since you are the one who seems to be getting uptight about the concept of somebody calling the show cheesy by debating the subject.

This is one of those moments, where I was not taking the show seriously.
Or is it just one of those thing's a Knight Rider fan shouldn't think about?
I just answered your question from my point of view, the show shouldn't be taken seriously, it was a "cheesy" fun sci-fi show that didn't require you to think that hard. Sorry I offended you, but I still think the show is c-h-e-s-s-y. And yes I still consider myself a big fan... I would hope so anyway...

I don't take the show seriously but I don't think it's "cheesy." I was trilled to see that it started playing again. It brought back some childhood memories. I've always enjoyed the show and I always will.

Well if you guys think it's cheesy, then that's you choice,
I am not on my own thank's KARR101.
I think i it's just best left the the indavidual to make their own mind up.
who's to say who is right and who is wrong?
P.s. Is it realy necessary to underline my spelling mistake's??
Not evryone is perfect.
So lets get back on topic and stop Nit picking each other.

Glad you realize that it is up to every individual. You also need to realize that means that others are allowed to have their rights too.

As for why you are being picked out for your spelling, everybody is, which is why the Spellcheck was put into place. It never hurts to take a little care with your posting, seeing as others are having to read it, and it wouldn't hurt to show a little more pride and care that the new people are showing when coming to this board.

Nobody is nitpicking each other, just informing you of something, and if you can not handle such information, then one has to wonder how old and mature you really are.

And in the case you haven't noticed, you, whet, were the one who took it off topic in the first place with your problem with some people calling the show 'cheesy'.

As for the original topic, the reason why KITT didn't spin or jerk around was probably because he could have been firing his thrusters to stabilize himself once he launched out of the plane. But in short, yes, it was a plot device, without any other thought put into it, and the model plane and the model car weren't going fast enough to cause any spin.

Maturaty ain't a problem for me infact I am told I am to mature.

I didn't say how people saw you outside the board, I am just telling you how it is seen in here, and right now, you are proving to be a little less than mature with even that last comment. If you don't want to use the spellcheck, go right ahead, it was just a suggestion, so that people would be able to understand your messages a little better.

No It's ok I will use it it's what it's there for, but i don't see how spelling something wrong make's you imature, lots of people have a problem with it.

It's not the misspelling that questions your maturity, it is the remarkable hissyfit that has continued throughout this thread about being told about the spellcheck that does. I am sorry that you feel like I am calling you down like a bad boy.
