Help me to find an episode...

Hello, just seeking help to locate an episode i cant have seen since i was a child, yet keeps popping into my head every so often. Ive tried in the past to search for it by looking through all the plot summaries but can never seem to find it. I guess if theres any place to ask then its here...
Il start with the details im sure of: Michael and a guest actor are walking slowly through a corridor, the guy is reminiscing and says the line 'We used to cover ourselves in mud and feathers and don hideous masks'.
The details i am not sure of: The location is a hospital, maybe devon is ill, and the guy is a childhood friend/brother of devon and is talking about the thiongs they used to do as children.
Any help to scratch this itch ive had for YEARS would be very much appreciated indeed.
