Fallbrook Film Festival with the Hoff

Yesterday David was given a Career Achievement Award at the Fallbrook Film Festival at the Pala Casino...

...in my own backyard, too.

Looking at the photos, I have to wonder if there were many people there. After all, Pala is kind of out in the middle of nowhere with "Blood Alley" for an access road. It looked slightly vacant and I can imagine, since most that go out there are only hoping to win...and pretty much drive off poor.

There were lots of people there but I left with David before the awards ceremony was over so we had time to outselves outside with my car :D once the awards ceremony was over, the rest of the people came outside to see KITT but David left just before that because he was flying to Australila Monday morning.

I had a suspicion that he would be off and running, half way around the world. Such a busy man.

Anyhow, just came back from the final day of the film festival. Decided to see a bit of it, since I had the day off. Such nice folks, they denied me any chance to pay and escorted me into the theatre for free.
