Except the ill-fated 2008-09 series was a continuation of the original series, rather than a remake.

Seems like Andron's 08 TV movie was a true continuation, while GST's 08-09's TV series was sneaking a remake. The series had no Hoff, no buddy Dylan, not a true revival of F.L.A.G., just Knight Research and Development under the SSC (until episode 13). There wasn't even an explanation why the "Attack Mode" was changed.

If they were to bring KR back (however I dont think they will for a while, it's too soon after the 08-09 season) I think they may mention the 08-09 but won't be based off it.

i think they should mate a season 2 of the 2008 KR. it was gettin back on track at the end of the first season but will never no now. long live kinght rider 2008

Not sure about a Universal made KR in 2011, but all I can say for now is keep your eye on the History Channel in the months to come. You "will" be seeing a Knight Rider Trans Am featured on a show that I can't disclose yet.....but I'll keep KR Online informed. Believe me.....I'm definitely waiting for it.
