kitts computer capabilities (orginal series)

Just wondering,
with todays computers how they are now, would kitt be similar in specs?
ie like my new laptop is a quad core i7 , 1gig dedicated graphics card 4 gig ram etc,
how would kitts be in comparison?? :kitt: :dash4:

I think he once mentioned what specs he had in terms of hard drive space in ten wheel trouble.If he had to be compared to a computer I'd say he's probably closest to a comadore 64.

Yes, he does make mention of it in 10 Wheel Trouble, although he was a little a head of the Commodore 64 :wink:

He says his memory/data functions were unlimited, he had over 10 million K's of data, and could introduce a new million each day if needed. It was something to this desired effect. :kitt:

Hehe 10GB by today's standards are laughable. That is only 1/5 of a bluray disc. Back then in 1982 that would have been a room full of 5.25-inch form factor hard drives weighing about 3 pounds a piece and only holding 10MB of data... each.
