Original 1982-86 KR Replicas

Hi - I thought I would start this thread as I have not found a thread about people and their replicas of the original KITT, original and best 1982 Trans Am.
I live in the UK and don't possess one, sadly. Nor have I ever sat in one or seen one for real. It's a dream of mine to sit in a KITT.
I have found this of one someone has converted, and it's the closest I have ever found to being a perfect replica.
http://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-news/1 ... 49019.html
This is not mine, nor do I have any association with them. But it's a terrific conversion.
If anyone reads this and they are in the UK, please let me know. I'd love to see your KITT.
All the best.

Cool thanks. I did hear about it last year, but Hallifax is one heck of a drive from me.
I emailed the address on the web site to ask for other details, but no one ever responded. So I assumed therefore that is was a little amateur thing.

If you think that gathering of 23 KITT replicas and visit of Mr Michael Scheffe (designer of the original KITT) is an amateur thing then so be it buddy.

Yes you could - that is also a heck of a trip.
My trip was one I was not willing to make at the time, as I wasn't getting responses in my inbox or junk. I'm PC savvy, so know where to keep my eye on. Maybe this year I will go.

How strange - am in there now.
Will register at some point. See if there's a KITT someone in the Lincolnshire area.

Wonderful - but you are not UK based. I am trying to find someone in Lincolnshire or Cambridgeshire that has one.
