knight rider online

Hi..
As I have been buying my favorie episodes on I tunes to take out and about on my I pod I am now enjoying the 4th season in Stereo..

But it appears to me that"Kittnap was the first episode in stereo and the season opener "KOTJ" was in Mono..
Can anyone confrim that "Kittnap" was the first stereo episode??, or is it just a mistake somewhere.
As the DVD's where in mono this is a real treat to get episodes in stereo..

I might be wrong but I don't think stereo TV arrived until several years AFTER Knight Rider had ended... ergo, Knight Rider was never in stereo?

i can auusure you that "Kittnap is certianly in stereo..
Infact I think during the final season when broadcast on some tv during the titles they would flash up"In Stereo where avalible"

All of season 4 is in stereo.

yeah it's in stereo now. But was it originally in stereo or was it remastered to stereo for the DVD release?

Miami Vice became the first program to be broadcast on stereo.

The DVD release was mono, that's the sad part... no reason for a mono DVD if they either already had a stereo version around or were about to remaster it for iTunes.

The entire fourth season was originally broadcast in Stereo. I still have some recordings of original NBC airings where it would say "In Stereo where Available" during the opening credits.

But can you clear up if KOTj Was Stereo as on I tunes it don't sound it.. But the next episode "Kittnap" does..

As Joe said, the whole of the fourth season was broadcast in Stereo, so that means that the audio track for Knight of the Juggernaut was Stereo as well. Unfortunately, as is the case with the season 4 DVD's, the episodes on iTunes have most likely been downgraded from Stereo to Mono.

Well at least all the other season 4 should be streo on I tunes..
It's realy good to enjoy them in stereo..
