Do you want the RA1 Ram Air hood (similar to the '93-'97 Ram Air Trans Ams)?

That is exactly my plan. The exterior should be mostly complete by the end of summer. Then comes time for the fun goodies! (hint. KI3T's engine whine)

Tamatt27:Great work. I pickup my upper grille this week. I just wax the car to go take some updated picture of mine. Do you have a list of all the bolts and clips needed for the front end? I'm thinking of driving mine next year..... Chicago to Vegas..... That would be cool!!

I'll be driving from Austin to Vegas!
I do have a list, however it's not complete. It includes most of the major pieces.
Part Number
7R3Z*13008*A, 7R3Z*13008*A - Both headlamps
7R3Z*8200*A - Upper Grill
7R3Z*17K945*AA - Lower Grill
7R3Z*1726*AB - Panel
7R3Z*15200*A - Foglamp (x2)
5R3Z*17C861*AA - Reinforcement
5R3Z*17C861*AB - Reinforcement
7R3Z*17C882*A - Isolator
Now, the actual bumper and upper bumper brackets were ordered at another time, and I don't have the receipt in front of me and don't have the part number for them.

Hey Tamatt:
So your Shelby GT Frotn bumper fit just fine with the stock hood, or did you have any issues with the installation? I was going for the front bumper conversion as well, but I ran into some snags on my project. I was going for the Roush KARR Conversion instead, but I know it would not be the right look for Shadow KARR. If I coudl get away with using the stock hood for now, it would alleviate a bit of burden at this moment with my conversion. Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Tiger, yes the GT500 front bumper will work with the stock hood. The Shelby hood WON'T work with a stock GT or Roush front bumper though. Since my car is a Roush, that's the bumper in the first pic titled 'before'.

So why wont the Shelby hood work with a stock GT...whats the problem?Or is it like you have to have the front bumper 1st then the hood?
Also was the bumper already painted to match the car or did you have to paint it urself?

The Shelby-style hood will hit the bumper and headlamps in the front and won't close all the way. I would've liked to get the hood first honestly, so I can get started on building my scanner.
Thanks for the compliments Taoworm.

So basically get the bumper 1st then the hood?
Did it come painted already?

No, I had it sent to our body shop to have the bumper painted. Yes, you've got to get the bumper before the hood.

Ok I gotcha...so what was it like a primer grey color when you got it in then you just had the bodyshop match it to your car right?

I don't know what color it came in, as I had it sent directly to our body show.
I put up a short video on my youtube channel in anyone's interested. I'll be making another compilation within a week or so!

and the neat thing is you can sell the front fascia/grille and parts that you took off to put the 500KR fascia/grille to offset the cost of the parts
